About this docked boat rental
Located in Bayfield, this attractive docked boat for $225 per night is a great option for your next break. Enjoy all that Bayfield and the Apostle Islands have to offer. While having all the comforts of home, but doing something truly different. Please note: this boat does not leave the dock. Your yacht comes equipped with fresh linens, kitchen bathroom, tv, DVD player, and sleeps 6 people. Call it a floating cabin, sit out on your back deck and take in the beautiful view. The B-Hap-e ( name of the boat) is located at the Blackhawk Marina in Bayfield Wisconsin. - Please note housekeeping is not provided on stays shorter than 4 days, when you book longer, fresh towels and garbage pick up will be provided every 4th day. - 3 day minimum stay on 4th of July weekend and Applefest - Strick cancelation policy no refund if cancelled 60 days prior to check in. Bookings available until October 15th only.

It was a lovely and unique stay on the boat. My daughter loved it. It would have been prudent to mention the bathroom situation though. We had to use the Marine facilities to shower and use the toilet. It was inconvenient and if I knew this ahead of time, I probably would have booked a different Vrbo.

I LOVED the unique experience of sleeping on this boat, floating with the waves and an easy breeze and llite rain!

I booked this stay as a surprise for my daughter and 2 daughter-in-laws. I was the one surprised. In the bathroom, there is mold in the corner ceiling of the shower. An electric cord runs on counter behind sink with a lamp on the side of the sink, with dirty ring around it. Another electric cord runs under the low cabinet over the sink and is held up with a clip. You have to use a coffee cup to fill water in toilet. One bedroom with twin beds has an older electric heater between the beds and next to the small dresser. Looked dangerous. Main part of boat is cluttered with used candles, extension cords. The one shelf is lined with used old candles, and the shelf itself is gritty with dirt. Odds and ends of dishes and glasses. Water from the filter on kitchen sink tastes bad. Coffee, peanut butter in cupboard, butter and packs of condiments in refrigerator. must have been left by past quests. Ceilings yellow with age. The positive side, Beds were comfortable and linens were nice and clean. We felt safe in this marina. Sharon was helpful and friendly. Beautiful view of the Lake. Most unique experience to stay on a boat. However, I would never stay on this boat again, too many nice places to stay on or near the lake. A note on the refrigerator asked for a 5 star. I give it a 1 star at best. The pictures are much nicer than what is real. I did take several photos of the problems.

Such a fun time!
Sharon made this so easy and comfortable for all of us! Everything was clean and she was super easy to communicate with! And even gave us suggestions on where to go, I would definitely recommend staying here!

There were so many many issues, The boat was not in the condition shown as on the pictures (I understand they are only pictures not reality) but they should be close. I say everything that was wrong I’ll just tell the most upsetting things. 1st and most important Sharon’s husband/ boyfriend walk up to our family and was talking to then said “I’m going home to “smoke” (this site won’t let me say exactly what he said but I’m sure you can read between the lines)and watch Carol Burnett” who says that to a family) then tells us that we’re not actually staying in a “marina” like the website states that we’re actually “staying in an old boat yard.” The first night was awful all I all you could smell was urin “like I was an old outhouse” my husband was able to make it better the second night by putting a cup over the sink drain and He put a fan in the bathroom window to vent it outside. The last two things were the freezer was so iced over it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time and the owner offered us to use the grill but it was so full of cobwebs it wasn’t even an option. There are so many other things but like I said the major one is who comes up to her family and says that about “smoking” You may ask “why I didn’t leave after the first night” well believe me I tried but everything in Bay Field was booked we walked around town and looked and we had excursion booked. Very sad and disappointed

Great change of pace setting while social distancing!
Great location in Bayfield with super view! Close to good restaurants & fish market. Went sailing, took the ferry to Madeline Island, and explored sea caves in kayaks. We had a great time!

Cozy and comfortable
We very much enjoyed our stay. The boat was comfortable and clean and Sharon was very helpful. There were storms both nights we stayed and she was proactive and reached out to assure us we were safe on the boat.

Great option in Bayfield
We loved the central location to the town. The owner was great about making sure we had everything we needed. Nothing fancy here but all we needed. Not a fan of the bathroom but we made it work. The kids enjoyed fishing from the boat and playing around with the raft.

Very Secure!
Unique floating motel room! There was a slip available for our fishing boat too which was very much appreciated and very convenient. People there keep a watchful eye on things! We felt very safe leaving our fishing gear in the boat. Thanks Sharon! Hope to see you again.

Excellent experience/second year in a row!
The setting is picturesque! It is nothing short of amazing. we loved being able to wake up and retire for the evening with the elements of nature. The local marina folks are welcoming and very friendly. I look forward to planning an even longer stay in 2020. Thank you Sharon, your hospitality was beyond wonderful!! Shari

Bayfield Boat Stay
My wife and I have been to Bayfield many times and wanted to stay someplace different. This was an excellent choice. I've had a boat before and knew what to expect but this may not be for everybody. The boat was great and the bathrooms and showers were conveniently close. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown. I would recommend this to anyone who was to get away from the tourists and enjoy some local people and a beautiful view.

Girls weekend
My 3 friends and I stayed for the weekend. The boat was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. We were very comfortable in it. We enjoyed how close it is to downtown and the ferry. We enjoyed sitting on the deck morning and evening.
We plan on staying again.

We enjoyed staying on the boat. We loved setting on the deck and, looking out over the water in the evening when we got back to the boat. Very peaceful. Bayfield is a great place to explore.
