The quality of a motel 6 stay somewhere else and with a different company
The porch and the location was good
The beds were lumpy, small and uncomfortable. The sheets were thin and old. The pillows were also thin and old. They also squeak with every movement someone makes.
The towels look like they were bought 30 years ago and were musty. There was one single washcloth. The shower had mold all over the curtain and the shower head hits you in the face it’s so short. They give you enough shampoo and conditioner to wash your hair once per person. There was also pink mildew in the shower which means whoever cleans it isn’t thorough. There was also left over hair from someone who wasn’t us.
The main heating in the house makes a loud rattling noise so if you’re trying to relax and watch tv you either have to deal with the noise or be cold.
The couches are awkward and uncomfortable. It’s impossible to sit next to your significant other it forces you to sit apart and they are cold leather in a cold house.
I sat on the floor for a moment and was covered in long white dog hair. I don’t have a dog with that color hair.
The kitchen dishes were wet when we got there and they are very cheap quality. The pots pans and cooking utensils were very cheap and looked heavily used which wouldn’t bother me normally but on top of everything else it just felt gross to do anything in the house.
Also there are ant traps all over the house which is another gross thing.
The whole place just feels like you’re staying in a goodwill or like someone’s crap they got off marketplace for nothing. There’s a tasteful way to do use second hand but this house isn’t it. We just felt icky the entire stay.
Then on top of it you have to check out at 10 instead of the standard 11 and do a bunch of chores for them when you leave.
Neither my partner nor I slept well the entire stay or felt clean. We were freezing cold when we were in the house. It was a very disappointing experience.
