It was fine for a short stay
Shower fitting was worn so shower head couldn't be positioned correctly making it virtually unusable. Shampoo bottle holder broken. Body wash pump seized.
Air conditioning rattled so had to be switched off for sleep.
Coffee cups far too small
Bottled water not replaced

Modern, eco, view. Great pizza! Kids enjoyed room service. Supermarket 5 minute walk.. Tram 5 minute walk. Odd beach 20 minute walk, the water was interesting. Long promenade.
A bit too far from the city centre
Not much to do in the area
We arrived on Sunday and most of the restaurants in the area were closed, it was also the World Cup finale so that may not have helped.

The location was great as it was nice to come back to a quiet area out of the main city area. The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the area. Only a short 5-10 walk from the tram to centraal station in Amsterdam (20 minutes). Great options for breakfast.
Would have appreciated a bar fridge or mini fridge in the room as we could not refrigerate any water/drinks or food. The air conditioning also needed some maintenance as it would turn on automatically after we turned it off.

The bed and shower were super comfortable, and the room had a nice view over the water from the 7th floor
They use a sickening scent in the room that smelled like a cheap car air freshener, which made me feel sick when I first entered the room. It took hours of ventilating to get rid off.
The lighting wasn’t great -tiny light switches with tiny lettering so that it was hard to find which switch was for which, and no bright light near a mirror for putting makeup on.
There were a biscuit crumbs on the floor.
Overall, not good value for money.
