Guesthouse as luxury hotel

very comfortable stay! seems like they have orthopaedic pillows and mattresses (which is a rare find in Georgia, where even in five-star hotel you can see a metal spring mattress, and suffer from backaches for whole vacation). Nice special thing for me is a full height mirror in the room. Everything we needed for extra - like kettle, cups, extra blankets was provided for us for free. The family who owns this hotel was very friendly. This guesthouse has all the facilities of real hotel, and same time coziness of real home (cause it is)

when we stayed in June 23, there was a building under construction right next to guesthouse, so view wasn’t so nice as on picture. Hope soon all the constructions will be completed

Very hospitable and kind owners. We felt like staying with friends. Great location near beach and restaurants.

Good value overall

Helpful and kind personal. Clean rooms. Very close to the sea. Grocery shop in the same building.

Tiny rooms and unfortunately almost no sea view as there is construction works nearby the hotel.

Exceptional

First of all host Vitali and his wife Meggy were extremely nice to us!Thanks for free coffee !)))The guest- house was really clean with a very good location! Room cleaning any time you want.I can recommend this place for a single traveler, friends or families.

No elevator in the building yet ( but as I know they plan to do it)

The place is exactly the right one for person(s), who are searching hotels or rooms on the first line.

1. The parking place, which is as "free" described is nearly always occupied. The "manager" of the parking place can not speak English and was not interested to communicate. You should 5 times repeat "Gonio Guest House", then he shows, that actually the parking place is in the yard of the hotel and opens the gate. At the end of our vacation we had difficulties to awake up this manager at 6 a.m. so could not start our road to airport in time. 2. The whirpool in the room makes you happy at first time, when you see it. But at the fist evening, when it was started, we could see a huge amount of dirt, swimming out of the tube. So it is (was) not disinfected/cleaned. 3. The door of the room is very "fragile", so if you are sensitive, it will be difficult to sleep: till 2 a.m. different habitants (children especially) of the house behave themselves rather loud. 4. Breakfast was very very poor and every day the same one. 5. But everything described above was not so really disappointing as the thing, which has happend 2 hours after the official check-out: we received an email, which has informed us, that we have left the guest house on the next day instead of staying for 4 nights, that is why the priced has been updated. We have booked the room for 4 nights and on the last evening have payed 760 GEL. The update informed us, that after the first night we have left, so the price become only 190 GEL. As we have understood, this is the way to pay less for services of booking.com and to get more money. No one document we could receive as invoice, the manager of the hotel told us, they have no computer, no printer. So nothing is possible to prove...
