Stunning property in a stunning part of the world. Food was very good and the breakfast outstanding. Staff were fantastic. Professional, courteous and constantly helpful and smiling. Very good management.

All staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The location is stunning. Very impressive (and tasty) buffet breakfast.
No air conditioning in room. Upright cooling unit was covered in dust at rear. Noted that a Disabled access door to the courtyard rooms did not work throughout our 2 night stay.

Nice little cottages in the grounds of a luxury hotel. However the small cottages are no longer connected to the hotel so all the facilities were at extra cost (£65 just to go in the swimming pool for example). The staff were a bit off hand and not especially helpful e.g. the food store was an hour late in opening so we couldn’t get milk on our first morning for a while. It was ok, nice location in the borders but expensive for what it is. The new hotel manager Richard was helpful over our special meal in the hotel.
Additional fees to use any facilities
Rather off hand staff at the cottages who didn’t seem bothered that we had been waiting outside the shop for an hour (no explanation was given for the late arrival)
