Nestled in Spider Lake, this lovely house for $279 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy this gorgeous, little piece of heaven. Custom-built,1,850 sq. ft., 2+ bedroom/2 bath home. Beautiful setting on 5 wooded acres that's located very close to the Birkie/CAMBA trails. It's also 5 - 10 minutes away from major lake chains, boat docks, and swimming beaches. Open floor concept with availability to sleep up to 6 people. Main level includes, living room complete with floor to ceiling wood-burning stone fireplace, full kitchen with custom cherry cabinets and high end appliances, dining area, laundry room (with washer/dryer and a large area to store cross country ski equipment, snowshoes, bikes, etc.), 3/4 bath and office area. Three season custom built living space with wood burning fireplace and dining area. Second floor includes 1st bedroom (2 sets of bunkbeds ~ full size lower and twin size upper), 2nd bedroom (queen size bed), 3rd room (twin size bed), full bathroom with double sink, and living space with full size pull out couch. The cabin has an outdoor hot/cold shower, wood pellet grill for your cooking needs, home audio & stereo surround sound, wifi access & much more. Things to do around here??? Mountain Bike/Fat bike, Nordic Ski, Hunt/Fish, Golf, Kayak/Canoe, Snowshoe, Hike, Trail Run, Boat, and Relax! This home is in a perfect location, located directly off Seeley/00 in the middle of Cable and Hayward, WI. Only 15 minutes drive to downtown Hayward and 15 minute drive to Cable, WI., We feature very close access to CAMBA MTB single track mountain bike trail system, and within one mile of the brand new Seeley Nordic Ski Center. You can literally bike, ski, hike, or snowshoe for days right from the cabin. There is CAMBA/BIRKIE trail access directly from the end of our private road. There are snowmobile trails close, but we do not have direct access to get on them so you will have to trailer them to the trail head. After your outdoor adventure, relax in the 3 season porch or outdoor patio with a book or board game, watch a movie, take a soak in the tub, or build a fire in the back-yard fire pit and look at the stars. Inside the cabin there are heated concrete floors on the main level and solid wood floors upstairs, custom beams, and ceilings that give you that Northwoods feel you love. The cabin is well appointed with many modern amenities and comforts to maximize your enjoyment. The home has outdoor security cameras for guests protection. This is a pet-free/smoke free home and a cabin designed for silent sports. Stayed three nights. Place was easy to find with directions off of phone. Arrived and was blown away by this cabin. Beautiful home, well appointed and beautifully decorated.
Everything was clean and neat and ready for our stay. Nice touches like the play room for our 2 1/2 year old was an unexpected and welcome treat.
Overall this is the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The communication with the owners was excellent. They even checked in on us when there was a storm one evening. The property was off the beaten path, but still close enough to downtown Hayward to grab necessities and groceries. It was a great trip!

We had a wonderful long getaway weekend at Mark and Jamie’s cabin. Lovely! We enjoyed the large, rustic three season porch; the sauna; large kitchen for cooking in; comfortable beds; and a cozy living room! Plus a fire pit in the back for a bonfire and drinks. An added bonus was the fox that made their den at the end of the driveway—fun to watch the pups pounce around! Would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed this clean, cute cabin! The cross-country ski trails right out the door were phenomenal. The cabin was tucked in a quiet forest and was so peaceful. We enjoyed the barrel sauna as well. Would definitely stay here again.

An absolutely gorgeous cabin with a perfect location for lots and lots of skiing. I love the design of the cabin, very roomy and comfortable with lots of amenities. Very kind and responsive hosts made it a lovely weekend!

This home was wonderful. My 15 yr old said this is a home he would want to buy when he's on his own.
Set back in a wooded area, not too close to neighbors. The kids had fun exploring the woods which they don't get to do often in the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house. Great location. Great for riding bikes on gravel roads and MTB single track trails. 1st floor of this house is amazing. Beautiful 3 season room with fireplace and dining table. House is super clean. Very nice location to "just relax" in the woods. My only "small" issue was the ceiling height in the "master" bedroom. My wife and I both hit our heads several times on the sloped ceiling. But I still give the property 5 stars. I would consider returning next year and recommend.

The main fireplace is easy to operate and has a temperature controlled fan to circulate air through the fireplace system. It can throw a good amount of heat with just a log or two burning.
This property is very close to other XC skiing and MTB/fat biking trails in the Seeley area. If you like those sports, this property is perfect for you. I hope to come back to this property with my wife and adult children during more favorable seasons to enjoy the three season porch and sauna. Mark and Jamie were very communicative during our stay. Super hosts. Highly recommend this property.

The Cabin had everything we needed and then some. Also, We were treated with great personal service. Whenever we had any questions we would just send a texts and Mark/Jamie would reply back within minutes. The kitchen was perfectly supplied for cooking homemade meals. The cabin was so Beautifully decorated and so well kept. We appreciated the little Bible verses they had up too :). Loved seeing that! We will definitely be back here next year if it’s available. Thank you Mark & Jamie for blessing our family with a perfect little, relaxing getaway!

Lovely Cabin
We enjoyed the cabin very much. It was comfortable & well appointed. Only 2 concerns. A sign at the door asked us to not wear shoes it the cabin. This should be mentioned in the VRBO listing so we can decide if want to book or not. Also, telling us to keep the heat at 70 is a bit unreasonable, especially when it was quite cool during the first few days of our stay.
Other than those 2 things, we had a great time & would recommend this cabin to others. Just bring your slippers!

Cute and cozy, this little house was as welcoming as the hosts of this property. Tastefully decorated, this cabin had everything we needed, and felt like home away from home. Hosts responded instantly to any questions we had. Clean and conveniently located - definitely ranks as one of our favorite places to stay!

A Northwoods Hideaway
This is a very beautiful home surrounded by woods. Private back roads with just a few houses is perfect for a walk or bike ride. The backyard is very quiet and still. We very much enjoyed the fire pit. Our daughter especially liked the little girls room. It was perfect just what we were hoping for. Owners were beyond nice and helpful too.

My wife and I have a winter anniversary so we take winter trips and our 30th couldn’t have better. Beautiful property and a great location. The house has everything you need and very clean, cozy with fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. We hiked some trail and went ice fishing and had a blast. We love outdoors and the house is located in a forest of tall pines. The setting is exactly what we were looking for. Local restaurants had great food we enjoyed several times. A short trip to Lake Superior and Duluth Minnesota, food and a casino. The owners were quick to respond to our questions which is wonderful when you’re in a new place. 5 stars all around, we would and most likely will stay here again in the summer and explore the national forests in the Northwoods.

Everything from making the reservation to checkout was perfect. Mark and Jamie have a beautiful cabin and we felt honored to call it home for a few days.
The cabin is well equipped and cozy - even in the coldest weather (it was -15 when we were there!).
The location is ideal for silent sports enthusiasts like us. We enjoyed the ski, bike and snowshoe trails which were all nearby.
