Matron May Kee was so considerate and kind. The Y was spotless and quiet and calm. Has the lovely old world charm. Nicest, warm people even the security staff. Excellent location.
Not a complaint just a suggestion, if a laundry facility was there would be helpful. Nothing more. Excellent place..

The location of the hostel is great, only a few streets away from Chinatown and a few steps from the MRT station. Staff were very nice and accomodating, and security was great, especially for solo travellers
The room as very noisy, I experienced chanting from 5-6 am in the morning, and works on the roads were also extremely loud in the morning. The bed was not exactly comfortable, but if you plan to stay only a few nights, it is fine.
