Lovely property in a great location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast!
Nothing major not to like, could have done without the 6:30am building noise but that’s not the fault of the hotel!

Wonderful historic hotel with very comfortable rooms. Remarkably friendly, helpful staff of local Stockholmers. Easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. I can’t even begin to count the different kinds of food on the breakfast buffet - hot breakfast, homemade breads, pastries, cakes, yogurt and granolas. Ideal location at the top of charming, neighborhoody Södermalm, quick walk to subway, harbor ferries, and north into the Old Town. Would absolutely stay again.
We had a long walk to perhaps the remotest rook in the hotel, involving four flights of stairs and a warren of hallways each way between the lobby and our room. We also had a small, dark room…but I’m pretty sure we chose a cheaper option, so you get what you pay for. The staff was also kind enough to carry the bags to our rooms, and they’re currently installing an elevator, which will alleviate the stairs.
