A fabulous stay here in the cottage, exactly as described in the photo's, in fact even better. Spotlessly clean, great shower, everything you would need in the kitchen, great sleep, very very quiet. Massive TV to watch while reclining on the sofa.

Private and quiet accommodation needs updating but we enjoyed it very much the staff where fantastic very helpful and the hotel was great breakfast was good but on first day chef was flustered as everyone turned up for breakfast at 8 am as we where all told it was not bizzy then so chef and staff where stressed and some things on breakfast where cold next two days where fine overall a nice stay would return and Lamlash is the best place to stop on the island

Staff as always were wonderful...location is great, breakfast delicious....
The shower is excellent and the dressing room/ large closet is a plus...although quite a few of the light bulbs were out in it...
The cleaning had a little to be desired... had to wash the coffee cups before we used them, cooker surface was a bit dusty... but these are minor and easily sorted...
Our main issue is the bed... its a double, small for 2 larger people, and the mattress is horrendous... very uncomfortable and felt well worn, the couch looks great and is comfortable enough but the recliners don't work... disappointing... the outside stairs could use some work, feel saggy and unsafe, like they might collapse....couldn't get air con to work....

The cottage was very spacious. The staff were nice. The view from the cottage to the sea was great if the garden were tidier.
The coating on the pans had scratches, and they should not be used anymore, as it is a health risk. It was nice to see herbs growing in the garden, but the garden could be tidier, so the view from the balcony was more pleasant. For example, an old gate was in the way of the cottage door.
The chairs in the restaurant had stains and the upholstery was damaged. Salt and pepper grinder are not clean.
