In the warmer months common outdoor activities in the region include fishing, hiking, bird watching, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, tubing, golfing, ATV trail riding, and horseback riding. In the winter months things don't slow down as the temperatures, snowfall, and terrain make an ideal winter wonderland for hunting, snowmobiling, tubing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and even downhill skiing.
