Proudly sitting on 2 acres of cold climate gardens, the property features a main residence and a separate servants cottage, and guests receive exclusive access to both buildings. We can sleep up to 12 adults, across 6 bedrooms. Located 3 minutes drive to Bowrals Main Street, Our property and cold climate garden dates back to the early 1900's when the property was originally a large farming estate. With decades old Redwoods, Oaks, specimen trees and our stunning Pine Grove - the grounds are perfect for wedding photography and we pride ourselves on accommodating bridal parties who wish to utilise our grounds in photography. The Estate is incredibly private and secluded within 2 acres of gardens, trees and hedging. The property also features a pool for the warmer months. Arafel Park is equipped with all the luxury requirements you may need and more including - Wifi - Foxtel - Nespresso machines - De'Longhi appliances - Luxury bathroom amenities - King sheet sized towels - All beds have Portuguese linen, thermal weight wool down quilts and heated blankets - The main residence features 2 fireplaces, ducted underfloor heating and 2 split system air conditioners - The cottage features a split system air-conditioning and gas fireplace - Welcome arrival basket and treats for your stay - Travel cot, single trundle beds and facilities/toys/bikes for younger guests available upon request. - One additional adults single trundle bed available upon request (costs apply). ***** THE MAIN RESIDENCE The main residence sleeps a maximum of 8 adults and features: Bedrooms: - Master bedroom with king bed - Pool view room with four poster queen bed - Double room with two plush queen sized linen beds. A privacy screen is available to separate this double room into two bedrooms. Bathrooms: - Luxury master bathroom with full sized stone bath + oversized shower + undertile heating - Second bathroom with shower + undertile heating - Powder Room - Additional pool bathroom Living spaces: - Conservatory - Formal lounge room with wood fireplace - Dining room - Informal lounge room with pot belly wood fireplace - Outdoor patio with BBQ facilities Facilities: - Fully equipped Chefs kitchen with Miele and De'Longhi appliances - Designer laundry with washer + dryer ***** THE SERVANTS COTTAGE The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and features: Bedrooms: - Master cottage bedroom with queen bed - Second bedroom with queen bed Bathrooms: - Master bathroom with shower over bath - Second smaller bathroom with shower Living spaces: - Sunroom / Dining room - Small Informal lounge room - Outdoor deck Facilities: - Fully equipped kitchen - Laundry with washing machine - 2 car garage ** Strictly no parties, and unfortunately we cannot host weddings on our grounds.** Full access to the 2 acres, main residence and cottage. We live locally and are a phone call away if needed. Situated in Burradoo - Arafel Park is a 3 minute drive through stunning Highlands country estates to Bowral's main street - whereby fine dining, and abundance of excellent cafes and boutique shopping awaits. Moments drives from cafes, fine dining, boutique shopping, wineries, national parks, bowral golf course, antique trails and open gardens and heritage homes. Our location is a perfect base for exploring our beautiful Highlands. Unfortunately we cannot host weddings at our property. Although wedding photography and bridal party stays are most welcome.

For our son's wedding, we stayed with our family in the main house and my son stayed in the cottage onsite with his groomsmen. Being December, the pool was a handy spot to cool off. The house and grounds were perfect for pre- wedding photographs. Overall, we couldn't have chosen a better place. Very happy with everything.

This place is perfect for a special getaway with family or friends. The grounds are truly stunning and during our stay there were abundant roses flowering everywhere!

I would definitely recommend this place for bigger groups. The only thing you need to really pick up on is that two of the rooms are 'adjoining' but what they don't say is that they are adjoining with a light curtain. it would be fine with a family but it was a bit awkward with two of our couples but they got over it. Any recommendation I would make to the owner would be to fill that in and if you want it adjoining still - add a door. really lovely place though and despite the adjoining room - we would still go back there.

We are a group of 9 school friends who have known each other for 50 years. We get together all over Australia twice a year. Our stay at Araceli was wonderful. Beautiful property with adequate bedding for us. Warm and comfortable. Beautiful grounds as well. Highly recommend for a large group or family

Our family, my daughter and her bride tribe loved our 3-night stay at Arafel Park. From the beautiful and extensive gardens to the charming architecture and relaxed yet elegant country styling, it was the perfect place to get ready for and recover from a Southern Highlands wedding. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out in the house and separate cottage, as well as ample parking. At one stage we had our 6 cars plus another 6 for all the makeup artists, photographer, etc. All the amenities to make you feel at home, and great photo opportunities at every turn. We’re already trying to think of an excuse for a return visit in the near future.

This is our 3rd year staying at Arafel House for our family catch up. Grandmother, her 3 children & their children under one roof. This makes grandma very happy and we love it here. Stunning gardens, beautiful home with plenty of bedrooms and space for the kids outside. I have absolutely no complaints and will be back again next year for our annual trip. Thank you Hayden for being so accommodating.

Arafel Park was an ideal setting for a family gathering in the Southern Highlands. Both the main house and cottage are beautifully characterful and provide flexible accommodation and entertaining space.

Arafel Park, is a large comfortable house with an adjoining cottage. The main house has well appointed kitchen and new bathrooms Comfortable beds and bedrooms, each with beautiful outlook to a the attractive well maintained garden. As a group we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property and in particular the cottage which is in need of a new bath and repainting of the rooms.

The property and its gardens and woods were beautiful. The house and cottage are cosy, clean and pretty well stocked. The hosts are quick to respond to messages. Also it's only a short drive to Bowral which is great too.

We booked Arafel park as accommodation for our Wedding in Bowral. We wanted to stay with all of our wedding party. The seperate Servants Quarters made it great to seperate the bridesmaid and groomsman. The only thing is that the Servants Quarters were a bit smaller than we expected. The grounds are beautiful and make for fantastic getting ready photos/pre-wedding photos. The property managers Hayden and Alischa were amazing, respond really quicky. Absolutely amazing.

This property was amazing! The grounds were immaculate and the surroundings beautiful, The only fault I would have is that there were lots of dead flies on windowsills and numerous plates and pots that were in the cupboards were not well cleaned. Otherwise a peaceful wonderful stay.

The house was spacious and well equipment. There were a number of different areas for sitting and chatting with friends both inside and outside the house. Gardens were gorgeous with large mature trees as well as many roses and other flowering plants.

Arafel Park is a beautiful house set in an idyllic garden. It was so wonderful to stay here especially for the wedding bridesmaids party to get ready at and for the pre wedding photos to be taken in the garden. It is spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us to stay together with enough rooms and comfy lounge areas to spread out in. Perfect!

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding that we held in Berrima. It was the perfect house, to accommodate the bridemaids, and then our extended family. It did get a little hot with the glass sunroom, so I think it is the perfect winter house. Overall though, it was beautiful and contained everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend, and only a 7 minute drive into Bowral.

Spacious home for a group of 10 people for a weekend. Everything, was thoughtfully decorated in the house and spacious. Lovely and helpful hosts as well. Everyone enjoyed their stay.
