Nestled in Silver Lake, this charming house for $235 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Silver lake is 460 acres of some of the best fishing waters in Kenosha County. The lake is centrally located between Chicago and Milwaukee near the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Lake species include musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, and pan fish. Available all year round... During the spring, summer and fall seasons you can indulge in the clean waters of Silver Lake. Fisherman and kayakers can enjoy the wake restrictions before 10 am and after 7 pm. Water sports right out the back door (tubing, boating, wake boarding, water skiing, and swimming). Canoe or kayak Silver Lake or nearby Fox River. Silver Lake County park has one of the best sandy beaches in Southeastern Wisconsin, staffed with lifeguards; snack bar, and shelter. Multiple guide services are available for fisherman. Boat launches include a DNR (free), village (fee), and marina (fee). Bait shops and vending in Silver Lake and nearby Paddock Lake. Gasoline is available on the water at a marina. In the winter, bring the ice auger out to catch lunkers through the ice. Snowmobilers have an extensive trail system that is easy to find. Cross country ski the trails at Silver Lake Park. Downhill ski or snowboard at Wilmot Ski Area, a five minute drive. A Silver Lake Four Seasons Cottage is a newly renovated 4 bedroom (1 bedroom with a king bed, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a large bedroom with a queen bed & double bed & queen sleeper sofa with ample room for inflatable additional bedding) lake front year round home located on 75 feet of lake frontage on the west side of Silver lake. 3 full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, and high speed internet. The ez dock pier layout allows ample space to moor multiple boats and jet skis along with great off the pier fishing opportunities. 2 tandem kayaks and a 14 foot aluminum rowboat are available for use by our guests. Other nearby activities... Golfing (Brightondale minutes away; Lake Geneva golf courses 15 minutes away), Six Flaggs and Gurnee Mills (Bass Pro Shop) Nature walks/hiking at Bong state park (10 minutes away), Bristol Renaissance Faire (15 minutes away), Lake Geneva shopping/dining/golf less than 20 minutes away, Prime Outlet mall shopping 20 minutes away, nearby restaurants and pubs in Silver Lake and nearby Wilmot

A few fiends and I were attending a conference in the Lake Geneva area. Rather than being crammed in a hotel room, we opted for a larger space where we could relax and commune together. The price was reasonable, and the commute simple, quick and easy. It was a straight shot down highway 50. Looking at the beautiful lake and the many kayaks, paddle boards and row boat make me eager to visit again in the warmer months. We appreciated the many beds and 3 full baths! The mattresses were very comfortable too.

We had people from all over the three state area, and enjoy your wonderful property. For being in Wisconsin, and 45 to 50° out with son we even enjoy the fire pit. But it was the spacious home that was wonderful. From the two sitting areas for dinner. To the wonderful spacious bedrooms on the first floor, the master bedroom on the second, as well as the huge great bedroom on the second floor. My mom was pleasantly surprised my sons grandmother was pleasantly surprised. Everything was wonderful I would highly recommend.

We were in town for a wedding, and this house was perfect for our needs. Cozy and comfy. The town has a train that rolls through pretty regularly, so if you are a very light sleeper being some ear plugs. The owner was prompt when there was a problem with the smoke alarm. Overeall I highly recommend this property, and if we ever find ourselves back in the area I will book again.

Property was clean and well maintained. Easy access to the lake and great fishing. Spent a few hours at the Silver Lake State Park just a few minutes away. Will definitely recommend this property to other families.

This property was exactly as pictured. Lake access was perfect. Yard was great. A bit noisy from the traffic and train but still a fantastic time!! Highly recommend.

Had three bathrooms, however, one was in the basement not near any of the bedrooms. Steve did come over on Wednesday to remove weeds from the beach area. However, only did 1/2 in the area was too filled with weeds to swim in.

Property is clean, well stocked & wonderful for a family or close knit group. Kayak, paddle boards and canoe available and greatly appreciated. Dock available for our pontoon boat worked well. HIGHLY recommend the private boat launch, $7.00 non-resident, over the free public access launch. Lunch or dinner at Copper Bottom Bar & Grill (on lake) was enjoyed by our family.

Everything was very nice. Access to two kayaks, a paddle boat and canoe was very fun and convenient. Communication with the owners was easy and we received quick responses. The cottage was very clean with a nice floor plan and in very nice condition. A lot of fun!

We needed a place close to my brothers house. This is a great location on a beautiful lake with great restaurants close by. Plenty of sleeping space and everything we needed was there. Great hosts

The house is very clean and spacious. Geese swimming across the lake every morning....right outside the back door. American Legion across the street for Friday fish and friendly staff. The entire upstairs has one huge room with three beds for the kids.

This house was perfect for our needs. We were visiting extended family in Burlington about 15 minutes away for the Thanksgiving weekend and wanted to all stay together rather than in separate rooms in a hotel. Also needed to bring my fur baby doodle. This house comfortably accommodated the 8 in our family group (3 generations). Each family unit had their own space, with an extra large bedroom upstairs. The kitchen had everything you could need- appliances, dishes, silverware, even coffee and powdered creamers etc. We were visiting family so didn't do any actual cooking so can't speak to how the oven works etc, but the fridge worked great. Absolutely no issues. Used the living room to watch the Vikings game on Thanksgiving evening and visited the local pub (Bender's) across the street for Karaoke and cheap beers. The locals were super nice. Everything was super clean. Steve was quick to respond to a question I had before we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Great space. Not the largest place, but fit our large group of 11 adults and 2 dogs impressively well. Maybe would have felt more tight if the weather hadn't been nice, but we mostly spent time outside during the day. Still, the spaces were configured well enough to be able to do some group games at night and to allow for different groups of people to hang out in different rooms. One of the full bathrooms is located in the basement which is a bit strange, but also kinda nice because of being able to shower early or late without worrying about disturbing others. Amazing access to the water. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks right out of the backyard.

Bedrooms, number of beds and set up was fantastic. Stayed with family and friends while attending a wedding in nearby Lake Geneva. Would recommend and stay again.

The house on the lake was exactly as described in the listing and the reviews were very accurate. The house had plenty of room, beautiful views of the lake including beautiful sunrises. The house was well equipped with dishes, utensils, spices and even bandages. Would rent Again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped. We spent most of our time outside, eating on the deck, playing in the yard. We loved the variety of boats. Everyone went out together and checked out the lake. Lots of fishing and learning to fish was done off the deck. Giving the little kids a chance to learn. It is really a nice lake. We walked to the ice cream shop (that is 4 short blocks away) almost every day. So handy.

The air conditioning was wacky and we couldn't get the right temperature. It was at 62-66 the whole week. My husband was happy about that. Would have liked a spot in the water for the dogs - too weedy. Other than that all was good.

We booked this rental over a year ago to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. There were 9 of us, but could've easily accommodated another 4 more.
The house was stocked! I normally I have to bring tea pitchers, a can opener, and anything I think we might need for a certain dinner. I found everything I needed and more: games/puzzles, portable music speakers, 3 kayaks, 1 canoe, 2 paddle boards and a row boat,
and lots of life jackets! We pretty much used everything the house had to offer.
Bedrooms were spacious, clean, and comfy, 3 full bathrooms, laundry facilities on site, and everything we wanted else was nearby: shops, bait, ice cream, a public beach, and more.
Definately have a meal at the American Legion. You do not have to be a member, and the food is wonderful, as well as valued at a great price. Prople of all ages welcome. We also loved the Silver Lake Ice Cream Shop.
Yes, you will hear frequent trains, at all hours of the day. We had no problem tuning them out, especially as we spent every moment we could outside. Speaking of outside, you have a really good sized back yard for games, a fire pit, and a private dock. My patents lived on the deck, complete with gas grill and full patio set. Would definately stay again!

We booked this rental over a year ago to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. There were 9 of us, but could've easily accommodated another 4 more.
