Amazing stay!

The property was well maintained, pool was very clean and chilled vibes. The room was exceptional for the price! So clean and the bed was insanely comfortable! Wayan and his staff were so happy and eager to help at anytime. Breakfast was complimentary with room service and a great touch, the pancakes were so tasty! I would 1000% recommend if you want to be in the centre of Ubud but also surrounded by jungle, I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place!

The most important - amazing Host and Staff. Super friendlyvand always smiling. Super clean room and beautiful view from the terrace. We felt like at home!

I would suggest everyone to stay this lovely familiy place. More like boutuqie hotel

I am vegan that's why I could only eat fruits. They served also fried rice with veggies but I was ok with only fruits. Owners and the staff was so friendly and helpfull. I felt so secure and comfy. Close to the street. they have only 4 rooms thats why so quite .

My first room was a little dark and wanted move to other one . 2nd room was okay. I would be glad if they would use day light color in the small lamps next to the bed.

Невероятно чисто, персонал чудесный, владелец очень приятный, сам готовит завтраки. Нас заселили раньше без вопросов и доплат. Номер был готов. Место наиприятнейшее, довольно легко найти. Нет своей парковки, но ничего страшного. Потрясающий бассейн, но немного чересчур хлорированный. Двор фантастический, с соседями повезло, было тихо. Кровать просто фантастическая! Матрас невероятно удобный, спала как убитая. Горячая вода бесконечная - за это вообще влюблена в это место. Балкон широчайший, с видом на джунгли. В общем мне все понравилось, я однозначно остановлюсь там еще.

Very peaceful

Very peaceful, wake up to jungle sounds. The owner is very helpful, the toilet hose didn’t work but it was fixed when we were away! Very comfortable beds and delicious breakfast!

everything about this place is amazing! I love the way you have breakfast on your balcony - was such a treat. The staff are great and are always smiling and ready to help with anything you need, when we checked out the staff offered us to stay by the pool for the day until our taxi ☺️☺️ Just fab!

Friendly, welcome comfortable

We loved absolutely everything! Gek and Wayan were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Great location with a short walk from Ubud main streets, but far enough away for it to be peacefully quiet. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Ubud.

Fantastic in Ubud.

Loved our three nights at Gek House. A four room guesthouse off the busy streets of Ubud. New and extremely clean and well cared for property. The owners are lovely and will be able to help with day trips and onward travel. Breakfast was great and setting fantastic on your own terrace with view of pool and large trees. The pool is lovely and refreshing - no sun so don’t expect to be sunbathing. Gek House is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Ubud in a nice quiet neighbourhood with lots of great eateries on the doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we can highly recommend Gek House to other travellers.

Beautiful room with a huge balcony. Super lovely and helping guys working there. Delicious breakfast. Opportunity to refill your water bottle. Scooter rental. Good location in a calm area but still close to lively city center.

great location, clean room, accommodating staff

very well kept and clean property in a quiet beautiful setting . the staff was very accommodating. they helped us book a driver for a day tour. they also made us breakfast early one day when we requested it.

the only downside is if you are staying more than 2-3 nights the breakfast can get a little boring (they offer 3 or 4 options).

Peaceful room with beautiful view

Peaceful group of four rooms in what feels like a family compound, but with an incredibly beautiful jungle outlook. We stayed in the upstairs room, which turned out to be ground level (and outside the office) whilst the downstairs rooms were possibly more private, due to the structure of the hilly terrain. Everything modern and clean and quiet and lovely hosts. Very sweet place!

Hotel located in a park like setting in the center of town.

The property is in a residential neighborhood, in a peaceful setting on the edge of the canyon. It takes 10 minutes walk to the city center and 15 minutes to the Monkey Forest. The rooms are spacious with a large bed and a balcony overlooking the green space. The swimming pool is right below. You are served an excellent breakfast on your deck. The host is very accommodating and friendly. Free drinking water is provided.

We have no complaints.

Gek house was by far the best stay I had in Bali. The room was spotless, comfortable, private and so quiet. I loved the big sliding doors that lead out to a huge balcony which backed onto a beautiful forest. This was heaven. The staff were so attentive, friendly and really made me feel at home. You can even text them your breakfast order and have it brought to the room! The banana pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend Gek House enough. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.

The only negative thing I can say (which is also a positive in my eyes) is that the property is somewhat secluded on a small side street. It is a street over from the main road and my Grab did have difficulty locating it despite using Maps. Once I knew where it was, I was able to guide the drivers on future trips. I would recommend taking a screen shot of the street view so it’s easier to locate on arrival.

It was a great location with very friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The property was in a great location, walkable to many things. The staff was very helpful, answered any questions and provided a ride the day I needed to go to the shipping store.

One of the best hotels ever - clean, great location and pool, amazing price value

I loved absolutely everything about this location! The owners and staff are absolute sweethearts, so helpful and kind people! The room was squeaky clean and the size of the bed was perfect and it was super comfortable. All of the 4 rooms have a big balcony with a drying rack for your towels and a view into the lush green garden. The pool is not huge but quite deep so you have to do some work :) I loved looking into the jungle garden and listen to the water and the birdsong. The breakfast choice is enough and you can eat it on the balcony. AC works and also has a fan option.

I had a massive spider in my bathroom at night and then it appeared the next day - BUT the owner got rid of it for me. I am not so scared of them but the size gave me a spook. The birds surrounding the place can be annoying, everyone has chicken so the cock-a-doodle-doo is constant :)

Quite place, beautiful nature

It is very well located - it was quiet and the same time close to the main street. When you open the terrace door you can see the beautiful nature. Every morning they serve breakfast there - delicious food in the jungle. The host was extremely nice.

Gek and Wayan were very hospitable. It truly felt like they were welcoming you into their home. They went above and beyond to care for me during my stay. The terrace was beautiful and spacious, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I liked that it was in a quiet, local neighborhood and very easy to walk to town.
