About this house rental
Situated in Key West, this lovely house for $1,734 per night is a great option for your next vacation. ABUNDANCE IN OLD TOWN... Majestic home in the Historic Seaport area of Old Town Key West. This is THE house to bring everyone together under one roof yet offers the perfect separation by floors for privacy too. ***PRIMARY GUEST MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE LOUNGE... Relax by the pool on a lounge chair or one of the many porches and people watch. Use one of the back porches to dine alfresco and enjoy some privacy. AMENITIES PER FLOOR.... First Floor: Offers one king bedroom, a second bedroom with twins (that can be converted to a king) and both offer armoires and flat screen TVs. Between the two rooms there is a full bath with both a walk-in glass shower and claw tub. There is a queen room following these rooms adjoining with a queen suite accessible through the French doors off the kitchen or from the twin room. A full bath with a shower/ tub combo resides in between one of the queen bedrooms and the king bedroom. In addition to the beds and baths is a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, and spacious living room with a sleeper sofa offering an extra sleeping space for 1 - 2 guests. Second Floor: There is a bedroom with a full size bed, another room with two twin beds (they do not convert), and a third room with a bunk and trundle (the top bunk mattress is a twin, the bottom bunk is a full mattress, and the trundle is a twin). This floor shares a full bath with walk-in glass shower, a living room with dining table and a full gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Third Floor: This floor is equipped with a kitchenette, living room with flat screen and a full bath with a shower tub combo. The living room has a sleeper sofa that is best for one additional guest. The bedroom has one twin bed and a queen bed which can sleep 1 - 3 guests total. OUTDOOR LIVING AND AMENITIES... There is a private, heated pool, laundry area with two of each machines, outdoor dining tables and one parking spot for the house! The Historic Seaport is in walking distance and where you will find quaint shops & restaurants. You are also just three short blocks to Duval Street and all of the attractions downtown Key West has to offer! Take a sunset cruise, go snorkeling, or grab a fishing charter. DISTANCES TO BEACHES... Our Refuge Inn staff of 14, from Chincoteague Island, Va, stayed here for our business' 50th anniversary. It was immaculate, well maintained and spacious. They loved the outside eating/gathering space by the pool, which was shaded with a large table and comfortable chairs, lending itself to a magnificent place for lively conversation and outdoor meals. We kept the noise down to respect the neighbors. We get it! We only saw one of the neighbors and he was really nice. Most days, we found a non reserved parking place on the street for our Jeep SUV directly in front of the house and used the space next to the house for our six person golf cart but it is large enough for a minivan. The house managers were very nice and respond very quickly to any call, text or email. The house is set up so that each level can be rented separately but not sure if it is. The location is central to the Old Downtown so you really do not need a car. WE will return and hopefully have enough folks to rent this house.

This was our second time to stay at Stars & Stripes. Love the location - walking distance to all the Key West spots but on a quiet street. The house is amazing - very spacious and clean. The walk-through room on the first floor was a little odd but every room has its own outside door and it wasn’t really a big deal. Property manager and concierge were so nice and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

What a great place for our multigenerational wedding party! The kids loved the pool and the baby had her own room. The grandparents climbed to their cozy third floor for some peace and quiet. The location is quiet yet central. Parking for our golf cart was handy. Very clean and a great staff too👍

Close to everything! Great location. After reading some reviews about noise, I was a little concerned. We didn’t have any issues. We were a group of 12 and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and well-maintained. One of the coffee pots broke and it was replaced right away. Definitely would stay here again.

We had 20 guests and it seemed like no one else was there! This visit was for our daughters wedding and it could not have been more perfect. Would definitely stay here again!!!! I booked this house to accommodate myself and 15 friends. We were celebrating my 60th birthday. My first girls trip. There are not enough words to express what a wonderful time we had. The location and layout of this house was perfect. We all enjoyed the pool and the coffee bar around the corner. We quickly learned our way around and everything was so close. We all want to go back.
The property manager was great. Shana was always available to answer questions and provide assistance. We had an issue with the washing machine not filling and she had somewhere there quickly. I highly recommend this house and hope to go back again.

This house was able to accommodate my large group, location was great - close enough to Duval Street but also far enough to have some quiet time. Only suggestions we have were to supply some beach chairs for the beach, and also some cushions for the kitchen chairs. There also should be more parking spaces available for the guests. Shana, the property manager, and the staff at Concierge were great!!

This house and property are amazing! We had 15 people in the house and had PLENTY of room. The pool and grounds were perfect to grill and hangout during the day or evening and the inside was cool and quiet. All three kitchens were fully stocked and the property manager was a dream. Close to everything. 10 out of 10 for sure!!

House was wonderful! One of our party cooked a gourmet meal one night. Grilled most days. Pool (including pool toys!) was great for those days we needed a little time away from Duval Street. Wonderful location- could walk most every place we wanted to go. Would highly recommend for large groups/families.

Cons: If any of your guests have loud voices or loud laughs this is not the place for you. The neighbor called the cops on us within 2 hours of being there (4:30 in the afternoon) because we were too loud. I would understand if it was 10 at night but it was not. The kitchen did not have ANY spices or kitchen aids (napkins, aluminum foil etc) that previous renters normally leave behind from my numerous vacation rental experiences. We did find salt and pepper in the second floor kitchen but that was it. We had to buy spices and kitchen needs to cook and left them all there like most people would have I assume. The bed my husband and I slept in squeaked when you sat on it or rolled over and listing states it was a Queen but felt more like a full size.
All in all it was a great time and after the experience with the neighbor day one we tried to spend most of our time out in town not to upset the “East Coast” neighbor.

This house is in a great location and very good for a large group. The neighbor is difficult for noise the pool is limited for a large group use. Also, the pool is cleaned on Friday during the day and landscaping done on Saturday during the day so limits the use of the pool.

Stars and Stripes is a wonderful property in the heart of old town Key West. It was perfect for our guys getaway, very spacious and easily accommodating our 12 adult party. The location is great, close to Key West Bight, Schooners Wharf, Duval St bars, Mallory Sq etc. The pool on-site was wonderful too! Highly recommended. We will be back.

Overall, a good experience. As others have stated, the neighbor next to the pool is rude to say the least. He berated us for being loud (4 people talking) at 9pm. Called the police and he was reminded that quiet hours for the town start at 11pm.
