Located in Palisades Tahoe (Olympic Valley), this charming house for $842 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Very large dog-friendly home with hot tub has sunny southern exposure and views of the ski slopes on KT22 and Red Dog. Large lot with small pond offers very private setting. Less than 1/2 mile to the Palidsades/Tahoe parking lots on back streets, so you avoid the access-road traffic. In winter, the Mountaineer (a free app-based shuttle service will pick up/drop off anywhere in the valley). Easy walk to the shops, restaurants and activities in Palisades' base village. 50 minutes by car to Reno and 25 minutes to North Shore casinos. 11% Placer County lodging tax, 1% Squaw/Alpine Mass Transit tax, and 0.5% OV/AM MD Assessment are added to your reservation. (total 12.5%) * Snow removal provided at no extra charge. * Very private outdoor hot tub with partial mountain view * Large, fully-equipped kitchen with two refrigerators, gas range, microwave & dishwasher. * Large dining area, large living room w/piano & gas "woodstove", large family room with 2 futons. *Five bedrooms (two masters with king beds & double sinks, 1 br with queen bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 twins in each, library with full-size daybed & trundle mattress), 2 full futons in the family room. * Maximum occupancy: 12 adults (16 & over), 16 people total. * Window air conditioners in both Master Bedrooms help cool the entire house. * TVs in LR & both Master Bedrooms. * Travertine-tiled baths. * Extra large washer & 2 dryers. * 1 car garage, plus paved parking for 4-5 additional cars. + + Generous Refund Policy: Guests wishing to cancel within 30 days of arrival should notify the rental manager. Manager will re-market the property. If a new rental is secured, then upon payment of a $200 re-booking fee, the guest who cancelled will receive a refund in the amount of the new rental up to the full amount of his deposits. Walk to village, close to lifts, views, spacious, comfortable, sunny. Good for multiple families, & large groups like family reunions. Lots of stairs There is a 1-bedroom apartment on the property. Tenant is quiet and unobtrusive. Apartment has a separate entrance.

The house smelled moldy. There were dead bugs on one of the bed. Dangerous chair placement in the "library". Trundle bed collapsed on lower mattress. Faucet not working in one the bathroom sinks. Internet not available. Pictures were entirely deceiving. Large holes in the ceiling sheetrock. For such a large house, the parking was a mess and one of the spaces was taken up by a broken down car. What a nightmare experience. The only redeeming part was that the property managers were very responsive to our complaints. They scored a 10 our of 10!

This is a really fun property. We met one of the owners, Tuck, while there and he was very friendly and personable. The views from the back windows are gorgeous and there was plenty of space for our group of 14 (plus two babies). It's a quirky place and feels like the Winchester Mystery House but we got a kick out of it.

Great location and good house for bachelors only. Every small space is tur Ed into a room. Bedroom. #4 is an attic turned into bedroom with 2 beds but only way to get there is through a makeshift ladder next to a long drop of stairs case. OSHA would have a field day. For skiers the house is in a great location

This is a quiet location and ideal home for a large group. However, I must say there are some things that needed update such as the mattresses and bedding. Some beds you could actually feel the springs on your body. One of the sinks was leaking so the use was limited. We were unable to find toilet paper so we had to share with other bathrooms. So if your group just wanted a place to take a break and go do other activities then this place would be fine.

We didn’t end up renting the property because we arrived to learn that the internet was out and had been for a month. This was a non started for us so we had to find alternate accommodations and never stayed at this house. Bev refunded our money promptly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house, which has an unusual layout that worked well for our family, which included our son, daughter-in-law, and their baby. The house is really two homes combined, so they had their own separate "unit" so to speak, which was wonderful. And the property managers were great to work with when we had a couple of small issues at the beginning. Very responsive, and followed up to make sure it was all okay. Lastly, being so close to the mountain was fantastic!

Overall it was a nice house. We enjoyed staying but there were a some problems with the house. There was mice around the house and there was a loose pole in the living room.

Huge house with lots of room. Had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The pictures do not do this house justice. However, the house could do with some updates.
