Alua Village Fuerteventura - All Inclusive

The my favourite club upgrade we paid for was excellent. Closer rooms to the facilities, robes and slippers, minibar which you don't pay extra for the first one you empty. You just pay for refills, free safe, coffee machine with pods and milk, kettle and tea bags, water, bottle of red wine on arrival, personalised check in so no queue, late check out if available as standard, free iron rental, sectioned area in the restaurant, premium all inclusive drinks from 10am until 12 midnight in the executive lounge. This had sandwiches cheese meats fruit and other snacks, sweets, coffee and tea facilities to hand! There is a huge balcony area, comfy seating, bench seating in the shaded area, sun loungers with massive parasols. Hardly anyone sits up there so you can get a bed easily. And at one end there are these huge round padded beds to lay on. Always in the sun. Absolutely baking. In the evening we played cards in there and there is a tv on the wall which we had you tube music and, football on. There are a couple of sofas and table and chairs low and high ones . All soft drinks and brands and in glass bottles The bedrooms are big, the rainfall shower is hot and good power, big tv, sea view, big beds which are memory foam and very comfortable! air conditioning works a treat! We were in block 6. So just one level from the pool area. They go down in ramps all the way to block one. We used the well equipped gym. Some equipment was outside. Fabulous and what we needed indoor pool and jacuzzi sauna and steam room included. And the water is warm. Less than 10 mins walk down the path to the stunning beach. Unadopted so not paved but worth the walk down. Beach bar on the sand. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The animation team were the most enthusiastic we have every known. Games and activities all day then shows and activities in the evening. The reception is vast. Beautiful and shows the level up to 4 star.

These points are no so much didnt like, more needs improvement. The food in the restaurant wasn't our favourite all inclusive food. We have stayed in 3 star with better quality and choices. Basically there was always something you could eat but some questionable choices of food on offer. Strange combinations like eggplant mash. Which was revolting. No one seems to eat it. A lot of the choices were quite bland. And the themed nights were loosely themed with maybe one different thing from that cuisine. The snack bar we never ate from. There were a lot of flys and birds helping themselves so put us off. Everything uncovered so maybe needs something doing about that. Quite long queues for drinks in the evening bar Usually only one bar staff serving. I had a tequila sunrise and it def wasn't one. Awful crushed ice and looked like carrot soup made from a machine. Pool parasols. Because of the wind these were wooden small and fixed so everyone has to move beds around for shade. But the lounge solved this for us. Al a cart restaurant. With my favourite club you get unlimited bookings. Its open tue wed and Thurs so we booked wed and thur. When we arrived we were offered a drink and seated. 1 menu was passed around. Nothing on that menu I would eat and there was one option. The waiters didnt speak to us. They brought a selection of starters on a plate. 5 different and none to my taste. Put a basket of bread but no butter. The brought plates with a white fish with skin on and a slice of carrot on top. I dont eat fish so couldn't eat that. I shouted the waiter over and asked for another option as I hadn't ordered it. He said one option for the menu and thats it. So we left. Cancelled the night after. 2 other tables walked out whilst we were sat there too. If we had been told the menu when booking, which was not al a cart, just get what you are given, we wouldn't have booked. Lots of wasted food. Very disappointing.

Great gym, staff friendly, entertainment staff were very energetic, lots of activities on offer Recommend canary shuttles for transport to and from airport as location is far from airport and the public buses and long and irregular

Cleanliness across the hotel could be improved especially in dining, glasses constantly had food or marks on them, bowls had water still in them. In the room floor wasn’t hoovered and sinks not cleaned As an English speaker most of the activities and entertainment was in French and Spanish, hard to follow in English Lots of hidden costs, €2.50 a day to use the safe and €10 deposit for each towel for the pool Hotel in general felt it needed a bit of a revamp with signs of age showing Not a lot of vegetarian options and gluten free section was minimal and risk of cross contamination with no seperate toaster etc At the pool no life guard seen on duty and pool bars had odd opening times with one only open 3 hours a day

We stayed at Alua Village Fuerteventura for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The all-inclusive food was very good, with plenty of variety and something different to enjoy each day. The swimming pools were always clean and well maintained, making them a great place to relax. The hotel’s location was another big advantage. It is very close to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful coastline, and it is also conveniently located near the town, with shops and restaurants within easy reach. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We had a great holiday and would happily recommend Alua Village Fuerteventura to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Fuerteventura.

The rooms could be a little more renovated as the bathroom is a bit outdated

Staff were great especially the animation team

The room was underground and we could hear sunbeds being dragged around above us.
