Nestled in Kure Beach, this lovely house for $875 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Discover Pleasure Island from fabulous Lulla-By-the-Sea A! This oceanfront duplex beauty is conveniently located mid-way between the Kure Beach's pier and Carolina Beach's famous boardwalk. Choosing between the many nearby activities just might be the most difficult part of your visit! So how will you begin your day? Perhaps a stroll along the beach just outside your door? Watch the sun peek over the Atlantic while sipping your morning coffee on the private master bedroom balcony. Relax on the spacious deck or tan beside the your 16X32 foot saltwater pool (shared with unit B guests only). Or maybe you'll venture out! Pleasure Island has many wonderful attractions to keep everyone happy. Activities including historic Fort Fisher, aquarium, sailing/boating, fishing, and shopping are some things offered. Great restaurants are located on the island and close to fine dining in Wilmington, NC. Each night offers a different adventure from Sunday night open air movies at the lake to Thursday night fireworks and live music at the boardwalk. We have one of the best fireworks display around. This is a weekly event during the summer. Don't leave the boardwalk without buying a Britt's Doughnut (ask anyone, they will tell you this is the best doughnut, ever). Lulla-by-the Sea is a beautiful 5 bedroom/4 bath, oceanfront home, with private beach access and elevator. This three story duplex offers the best of the beach with amazing ocean views from the second and third level decks while comfortably accommodating up to 13 guests. Lulla-by-the-Sea (A) is bright and spacious with updated furnishings and almost 2900 sq ft. Enjoy the complimentary wireless internet service and cable TV. Upon entering the home from your private garage, you will have elevator access to all three floors. Also on this level, there is a large bedroom with a private bath. This room has bunk beds and is equipped with a flat screen TV. It is great for teenagers to get away from the adults and have a private area. An open concept second floor provides all the space and seating your group needs. The beautifully decorated living room opens onto a large deck providing breathtaking views of the ocean and pool. This plan allows easy entertaining for large groups. The dining area includes a large dining room table with seating for 8, while five people can sit at the bar. A completely well equipped kitchen with granite countertops, 4 burner gas cooktop, and stainless steel appliances makes cooking a breeze. The floor is packed with upgrades such as a 48” high-def, internet connected 3D TV can display content from your Net Flix or Hulu account, double crown moldings, chair rail, gorgeous wood floors, gas grill on the deck, and a beautiful fireplace. Also located on this floor is a beautifully decorated bedroom with a queen bed, walk out balcony, large closet, and flat screen TV. It has a bathroom with bath/shower combo. The top floor offers three additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. The middle bedroom, with large closet, has two twin beds. The shared bathroom has a bath/shower combo. The large street side bedroom has a king size bed, walk out balcony, and flat screen TV. Lastly, the stunning master suite is located on this level. It has has a king bed, flat screen TV, and an extra-large walk in closet. Relax in the private bathroom with the deep jetted tub, double sink and separate tiled shower. Off the master suite, a large private balcony provides breathtaking views of the pool and ocean. For your convenience, the washer and dryer are located on this level as well. Lulla-by-the-Sea (A) offers everything you need to make memories that will last a lifetime.

The house worked great for 9 adults and 1 child. The room with bunk beds is small and you have to work to keep it cool. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool and beach are very close. Carolina Beach doesn’t have sidewalks so getting around is a little uneasy. The house is in a busy area so restaurants are close.

My husband and I, our daughter and her husband, and our three grandkids- aged 14, 12, and 10, were able to carve out a common break from our busy lives. We chose this house because of the location on the beach, the shared pool with the adjacent unit, and the roomy exterior of the home.
The beach house was exactly as we expected from the VRBO listing- clean, comfy, roomy, private for all; with beautiful beach access, and a wonderful pool.
The house was generously stocked with a few days’ of necessities. There were ample towels , which we could launder as needed with the in-house washer and dryer. A huge benefit with a family of seven and a house on the beach!! And an option I would look for in future bookings.
The setting was spectacular!
There are two porches on the house- one at beach and pool level, and one from above the dune level, providing unobstructed views to the ocean!!
The house was everything we hoped it would be- perfect for 7, private spaces for each group, large common kitchen, dining, and living room space….. all within steps across the boardwalk to the ocean.
We loved the house, enjoyed our time, and will definitely consider this home for a future visit!!
Our host, Roger, was kind, helpful, and accommodating. You could tell that his goal was for us to enjoy our time there! Such a wonderful asset!!

Unfortunately, we could only stay 3 out of the 5 days due to hurricane Ira. The one thing I would do next time is get the insurance.

The house was perfect for our 11 member family of kids and grandkids. The beach was wide and very walkable. We were disappointed by the amount of wind that sometimes made it impossible to enjoy the beach but the pool was wonderful.

This house was exactly what we were looking for to accommodate our family for a week at the beach. The elevator is a must and the direct beach access made it all some easy. The pool on the beach is a great feature. We loved it all.
The only suggestion would be some blackout shades in the master. The sun sure does rise early on the coast. 6 am came quickly in the master bedroom. Hahah. We loved it all and the view was wonderful.
Roger was great with communication and the house was even better than advertised. Hope to book here again next summer!

The house was laid out very well. It was well equipped with beach towels, pool toys, yard toys, grill, and the kitchen was well stocked with paper products, spices, and utensils. The owner was always just a phone call or text away. Our family of 6 adults and three children ranging in age from 4 to 84 enjoyed every bit of our experience.

The place, the views, the amenities were all tops! Loved the salt water pool, easy access to the wide beach, gorgeous sunrises, and sunset flyovers by pelican squadrons. Everything was clean, easy, and fun!

My family of 12 stayed for the week and had plenty of space. The house came with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of extra towels. Communication with Roger was great and the check in process was simple. Amazing views of the beach and the pool was a great bonus. We would absolutely stay in this house again.

This house was exactly what we were looking for! We had 4 kids and 6 adults and had plenty of space to be social as well as not so social. Our family enjoyed having a space in the shade on the deck where the kids could sit and eat. The pool was great and everyone was happy that it was a larger pool compared to other listings. The beach was just steps aways and there was plenty of beach space in front of the house. All who came said it has been their favorite beach house that any have stayed in. The property manager, Roger, was easy to contact and stayed in touch. Honestly, no complaints. Our week was wonderful!

The extras offered by Roger were a first for us—beach towels, extra bath towels, very nice beach chairs, beach and pool accessories/toys, extra blankets and pillows, etc. We’ve stayed at numerous beach houses and condos but have never had an owner offer these essentials. House is clean, modern in decoration, beds were all comfortable. Minus the sunshine we desperately wanted for the week but didn’t get, it’s a fantastic place to visit.
Also, take the ferry over to Southport if you’re a Nicholas Sparks, Safe Haven fan. Adorable little town and having the pics of the Safe Haven filming is really cool.

Everything about this property was perfect! The location can't be beat, right on the beach, perfectly located between Carolina Beach and Kure Beach/Ft. Fisher. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable for my entire family, grandparents, adults, and kids. The pool was fantastic, we never had an issue sharing it with the other unit, and the kids loved having it to use when they didn't want to be on the beach or in the ocean. There was plenty of seating for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/cooks tools etc. The garage was clean and empty for our use, which was great because we had large vehicles that wouldn't have all fit in the driveway (3-5 vehicles depending on size should fit). The property manager Rodger was very communicative and helpful. The entire family had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to go back next year!!
