Located in McCormick Ranch, this lovely house for $169 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is a townhouse in Gainey Ranch, a safe and secure gated community wonderfully located in the heart of Scottsdale. It's close to great eating, drinking, shopping and entertainment. It has master suite, second bedroom and full bathroom and a loft with a convertible sofa and full bathroom. The floorplan is very open and full of great light. Included is a membership to the Estate Club; Gainey's community and fitness center. This is a full fitness center with a full complement of workout equipment (treadmills, exercise bikes and rowing machines), weight room, floor exercise area (including access to on-demand workout instruction), lighted tennis courts and pickleball courts and an Olympic size swimming pool . The property is located in a exceptional area of Scottsdale. The Gainey Village shopping center is located just across the street, leaving you walking distance to a variety of popular restaurants as well as great shopping. There is a Sprouts Market located in the Village as well. You are just a few minutes north of Old Town Scottsdale and the Scottsdale Fashion Square (the foremost shopping mall in Phoenix) for more dining, shopping and entertainment. Then there is the Keirland Commons and Scottsale Quarter just minutes north of the property giving you addtional places for shopping and dining. Also nearby, for your entertainment, are numerous golf courses, Talking Stick Resort (casino, shows, golfing) Top Golf, Scottsdale Bike Path ( a wonderful and scenic 15 mile trail from Scottdale to Tempe), Odysea Aquarium, iFly (indoor skydiving) and many other attractions. The Scottdale Hyatt resort is right next door to the property. Discounts are available for the spa, dining and drinking (they have nightly entertainment in the in-door/outdoor lounge from many of the top local musicians in the Valley. Property was nice and clean and well maintained. The only downsides were: (1) if you have a long car or pickup truck, it might not fit in the garage. Our F150 would not fit, even diagonally, so it had to be left diagonally on the driveway. (2) the hot water supply barely supplied hot water for two people to take showers in the morning. (3) When we arrived we found out for the first time that we were not allowed to wear shoes in the house. This house rule was written in bold letters at the top of Page 4 of the property rules found on the kitchen countertop, as well as printed on the door mat just inside the garage entry door on the garage entry level from the garage into the unit. This made it difficult for us to take off or put on our shoes every time we went into and out of the unit during our stay, as well as carrying our luggage and boxes up and down the relatively steep and narrow stairway from the garage level to the living area of the unit. (4) The Estate Club is more than a mile from the unit and the single television in the L-shaped fitness area is completely out of view from anyone using the treadmills or exercise bicycles. Instead, it is viewable only from the area which contains mostly a multitude of very nice weight machines which seem to work out every conceivable muscle group on the human body. It would be nice to install another television in the endurance exercise section of the fitness area where people using the treadmills or bikes benefit. Downside

Walking distance to restaurants, banks, grocery. A1 Estate Club with excellent facilities and organized tennis and pickleball play. Home is well stocked and spacious with a bonus cappuccino maker and excellent Weber BBQ. Gated, friendly neighborhood.

From the moment we arrived in Nov 2020 until our last day on April 30, 2021, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. Terry, the owner was very accommodating, and was available whenever we needed to contact him and over the 6 months of our stay became friends with he and his wife, Barbara. He upgraded the internet connection so that my husband could work remotely in the loft area.The location is fantastic with Gainey Ranch golf course across the parking lot and we took advantage of walking to the local retail area that included wonderful restaurants, a sprouts, panera and specialty shops. The 101 is only 3 miles away and so convenient to get around the phoenix/scottsdale area. The unit is exactly as presented and was very comfortable, well equipped and the patio deck was nicely furnished especially for morning coffee. The furnishings are tastefully done i enjoyed cooking and baking during our stay. Thank you Terry for a great adventure. Sue and John
