About this cottage rental
Nestled in Delton, this lovely cottage for $150 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We have a 1 bedroom cottage situated on a beautiful 700 acre all sports Upper Crooked Lake. The cottage has 1 bedroom with queens size bed.. Cottage adjacent to our small campground. We have kayaks and paddle boards and pontoon rental . We have docks available if you would like to bring your boat. Dock rental is 25.00 per day. We are located in Delton Michigan . Delton is a small town with a grocery store, bar, and eating areas about 2 miles away. There are also hiking trails and golf courses nearby. We are approximately 25 miles from 2 different ski resorts.

A beautiful week with a pontoon boat and kayaks on a beautiful lake!

We enjoyed this lakefront cottage. We enjoyed that is wasn’t far from a lovely town and not too far from many popular Michigan attractions. The cottage was a real value for our travel budget. We’ll be looking to book it again next year.

So many boats docked it was limited on swimming close to our area. Limited parking.
Pictures were outdated but overall captured the rental. Could have been cleaner but with a few wet wipes we were good.
Bedding and towels were fresh.
Overall the kids and I had a great time and I would recommend and stay again.

We had a wonderful time, but there is an issue with rust in the restroom. The toilet and shower were very discolored from the rusty water. I think the little cabin needs some pipes replaced but other than that everything was great!

My husband and I wanted a getaway with a lakefront. We found a very nice cottage with a great view. We had all that we needed both inside and out. The cottage was clean and well stocked with the essentials. The rental of the watercraft was a breeze. The other guests were very friendly and pleasant. Jody and her husband were perfect hosts and ensured we had what we needed. We are going to visit again. We even met some really nice people in town. Crooked lake is beautiful.

We really enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The location is right on the peaceful lake! Some mornings there are bass boats entering the lake for tournaments. Security is good with a gated entry! We would have enjoyed improved television reception.

Nice location right on the water. Kayaks were a nice feature. The cabin could use a deep cleaning. Food stuck on dishes in kitchen. Oven did not work. No sharp knives. Dishes had to be washed before use. Linens in the closet were not neatly placed making us wonder if they were clean. Jody came by and was very pleasant.

Fantastic getaway
A fabulous and easy going host! Jody and her husband were accessible and as friendly as they come! The quick replies helped so so much. The house is just as pictured…it was the perfect getaway for my sig other and self. The lake is not busy which for being a holiday weekend was a huge plus! Every neighbor we met were friendly. We used the kayaks everyday and throughly enjoyed our stay so much we are returning for Labor Day. Thank you for a better than expected stay. Looking forward to doing business again and see you in a few months!

Cute cottage steps away from the lake with a beautiful lake view deck/slider doors. Use of pontoon boar for a fee and free use of SUP boards and kayaks was a big plus. Downtown just one mile away. Nice pace to relax!

Enjoyed our stay, place needs a good cleaning.
Jody was very nice and responsive. The house could use a good cleaning and the beds are not very comfy but work for a few nights. The house fit our little family of 4 well and we enjoyed how peaceful it was and the view was great!

Cozy little lakeside cottage
This little cottage fit the bill for a quiet, remote, socially distanced get away. We enjoyed meals and sitting out on the front deck, renting a pontoon boat for a day, and complimentary access to kayaks. Jody, the owner, was friendly, prompt, thorough, and helpful with any and all communications.

Great little cabin with easy lake access
Y Waite cabin was a perfect little cabin for my family (husband, me, and little one under 1). It’s small and quaint but has everything you might need for a getaway. We loved the access to the beach right across the path. We rented Jodys pontoon for our stay which we loved going on the water every day for cruising and swimming. The cabin is close to the downtown Delton and several restaurants within 20 mins in neighboring towns. We liked Neds and Terrace Pointe. The property is located within a park which includes a public boat launch, jodys three cabins and a RV park with long term renters. The residents were really friendly! The lake is clean and beautiful but doesn’t really have a beach. You can wade in from the shore or swim off of the dock. The lake was very quiet with lots of fishermen but not as many boats as some of the neighboring lakes which we loved. Jody has kayaks, paddle boards, a canoe and a paddle boat for free when you stay. Another great feature. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the cabin. It was dusty/dirty on the floor and just seemed like the floors hadn’t really been cleaned. Our baby is crawling and her hands and knees were black. Since we had a crawling baby with us I cleaned it up with some baby wipes. The cabin could definitely use to be cleaned more thoroughly after each stay especially considering COVID. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Good cabin and nice neighbors
Nice simple clean 2 bedroom cabin within a stones throw of the water. Jody was good to deal with. We had no issues with our stay. All the neighbors at the campground were very friendly and laid back.

Water view stay
Want an affordable place to be on an inland lake in Michigan? This is it! A friend and I stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage - I slept on the pullout couch no problem. This lake is big for fishing! Not much fast boat traffic which makes kayaking pleasant. We ate breakfast and dinner on the deck overlooking the water. Some old docks and hoists marred the view a bit. We appreciated that there’s very limited vehicle traffic by the cottage.

This was a nice getaway and quiet area. Great Lake for fishing! Jody was easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner. Overall was a good stay!
