In the area for a family wedding, and while only three adults (including grandparents) stayed at the location, several family members stopped by to visit. All were impressed with our accommodations compared to theirs. Jinar are couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the rental process. The house was spotless, linens were top notch, so many useful items available in kitchen, and the toys available for kids in lower level - amazing. Wonderful fire pit area, and amazing view of the lake from deck and bedrooms. Already figuring out another visit with friends! Small grocery store with all kinds of surprising items right across the highway. You won’t regret your stay here.

The bedding and towels are high quality. Kitchen is well stocked. The property is secluded and very quiet. Small grocery store right across the street is a bonus. The only dresser provided is in the master bedroom. A little difficult if you are staying a while. Property provides firewood for campfire which was so nice. When we got there we were provided with a nice welcome basket full of goodies. Jinar (owner) is so helpful and so detail oriented. We will always have amazing memories of our vacations in this fabulous home.

Beautiful home - cleanliness was 5 stars and supplies for EVERYTHING was 5 stars! You need cleaning supplies? You name it everything is there. You need towels? TONS! You need supplies to cook/grill? She has you covered and everything was so organized it was very pleasing to the eyes. And the fun stuff in the garage OMG seriously fun stuff for every age! It was overwhelming in the best way! The only down side was the water access was not direct. You have to walk around into the neighbors property which it seems made her a bit mad. The reason there is no direct access is it seems as tho there is beach erosion and it created this little water area that you have to walk around in order to get direct beach access. You have to walk thru these sharp grass type areas and then walk back onto the owners property beach area to then enjoy the water. It was a downside when we had to carry so much stuff when we wanted to do water sports thru that mess and onto the neighboring property. She did supply a wagon to load up beach supplies to get the the water but again there was no path to walk to the beach without going thru this sharp grass and up and down steep areas so the wagon idea would not work IMO. We made it work tho with a little muscle and sweat. Another downside which was no control of the owners like the beach erosion was the neighbors. The left side neighbor was constantly in her yard with his huge black dog. It seems as tho he was taking a walk but every hour?! This dog was in her yard more than we were... made my kiddos feel uneasy. The neighbors on the right like i said before were a little upset that we had to walk thru their property to get beach access and then also went ahead and told us to stay out of this water area where the beach erosion was because a child drowned in it?! This is not a story I want to hear on my vacation despite how sad the story was. I am assuming the neighbor did not want us using her property as a walk thru due to liability and worried one of my kids would fall into that body of water and get injured? We only had the right side to get to the beach access since the left side is completely blocked by the small body of water. THESE THINGS ARE OUT OF THE OWNERS CONTROL but I wanted to mention these items since the beach access was the selling point to me. If your looking for direct walk out of the house access at the time of our stay it was not possible. However maybe this erosion is temporary? STILL 5 STARS & recommend!

We could not have asked for a better experience. The views from the lake house are beyond beautiful and the amenities the house has to offer are endless! There is truly something for guests of every age at this house. Our weekend was filled with memories we will forever cherish.

My family and I were amazed at how clean, well stocked and beautiful this house is! Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided, including a welcome basket of s’mores supplies. This is the best rental property we have stayed at. The owner was very accommodating and checked in on us throughout our stay. We hope to return next year!!

This was for sure by far the best family vacation/35th anniversary celebration we have had. So special to have our mothers, children and Grandchildren here for a week. The house is amazing. The view right when you walk in is breath taking. That is what sold us on it right away. The owner is so particular about cleanliness which we really appreciated. She was always close to her phone in case we had any questions. Very accommodating. Can’t say anything bad about it. We will for sure be back if we can.

The owner answered questions promptly. Our grandkids, ages 1 1/2 -9 loved all the games, beach toys and video games. Our family wants to return next year!

Great house for a family vacation, especially when needing to social distance -- Everything you need is provided. The house was clean, the views were fantastic, had a great beach on Huron (even with the higher than normal lake levels - that did NOT affect the beach here). Plenty of space to relax and spend time together as a family. Highly recommended!

Our second stay at this amazing property was as wonderful as our first! The home is beautiful and the view is beyond awesome! Our host has thought of everything! The home is wonderfully appointed. Our entire family loved our time at the lake!

Look no further, this rental has it ALL! The host was wonderful to communicate with and available for any questions we had. We appreciated the very thorough information provided about the house as well as surrounding area. This house has everything one could possibly think would be needed for a fabulous relaxing beach vacation. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to rent this house again. It will most likely become an annual trip for our family!

This is my 2nd time renting the Beach House and my experience was just as great as the 1st time. The owner of the property thinks of everything. The house and grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to renting it again in the future.

The owner and the property were top notch. It is everything the site says it is, plus some. It was an especially nice touch to be greeted with a welcome package with a beautiful view to the beech. In the morning, there is a stocked coffee bar and sunrises that will blow you away! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. It easily accommodated nine adults and is close to the golf courses. I’ll have to schedule a family weekend with the kids... they would love it!

Our family of 5 adults and one child stayed for the weekend. We Quickly discovered that the pictures do not do this beautiful home justice! We had a wonderful time swimming and enjoying the beach, with all the beach toys, cooler, chairs and epic view we could not have asked for more! We truly had everything we needed...comfy beds, a market across the street, fully equipped kitchen with coffee station, did I mention the VIEW and Jinar was friendly and helpful at all times. We will definitely be back!!

From my first contact with Jinar, this beautiful lake home's owner, to the last wave as we departed and she was arriving to prepare for her next guests, our vacation experience was superb! At a very reasonable distance from our homes in Ann Arbor (one son and his girlfriend came from NY), this spacious, lakefront home was our home for 3 days/nights. Communication with Jinar was excellent and always helpful and friendly. We arrived to a Welcome basket in the kitchen with snacks, s'mores fixings and info about Port Sanilac and nearby towns. There were 5 adults and 3 young children in our group - 10 months-70 years. The accommodations served each and every one of us!! Comfortable beds, thick beach towels, filtered water, a coffee station, a kayak, sand toys, kites, board games. Though the lake was quite cold, we spent most of our time, young and old(er) on her shores - digging, wading, rock hunting and skipping. We cooked/grilled at the house, eating one delicious dinner at Uri's Landing at the nearby harbor. We had a low key, totally accommodated, fun, not too far from home vacation. Jinar is an amazing host who has given attention to every detail to provide guests with the best possible experience in her well cared for home. I guess you can tell we were mightily pleased!

This property is fully equipped with everything you need for a beach getaway! There is plenty of room for all guests to enjoy their stay. The sunrise view is absolutely breathtaking! The basket of goodies for our girls and the rock painting supplies were the perfect touch! Thank you for making our summer getaway one we will never forget! Would not hesitate to rent again in the future!

My family of 12 takes an annual trip each summer but never have gone to the same place twice... Until now. This is a repeat home for sure!! This home has it all; the view was amazing, the home was perfect and gorgeous, the lake was unforgettable with great amenities, the small home town feel was welcoming AND the host Jinar was the best we've ever had! She was very thoughtful, communication was great and the little special touches of the welcome basket and coffee bar was above and beyond. We truly fell in love this week. A perfect experience, in fact the only feedback we could come up with to make it even better was just walking stones/path from the basement walkout to the beach, the grass in that small section is a bit rough but minor. A truly tremendous stay! Thank you!

This is a beautiful property!! Extremely clean, very thoughtfully appointed. We were greeted with amazing views of the lake when we walked into the home. Our family truly loved the whole experience of being at the lake! The beach and the lake are amazing! The views are to die for!!The host was very easy to contact and very responsive. Everything is so well organized too. She has thought of everything! The beach toys, the beach towels, the firewood, the beautiful kitchen with everything one might need, the necessities in the bathrooms! And a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers to greet us! ! ❤️Everything is well thought out! We loved this property!!

We had an amazing time at this property. Rain or shine, the views were amazing. The fire pit is a perfect way to close the evening. The house was gorgeous and had ample linens and supplies for our entire trip. The market is right across the street and has most anything you would need. We absolutely loved our stay. We had a 1 year old, 4 year old, 6 year old and a 12 year old. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed all the games and toys. The beach gear was also perfect for all ages. Port Sanilac is an amazing sleepy beach town. All in all it is a perfect house, perfect property in a great little village for a quiet family get away. If I could rate it higher I would. First rate across the board.

Out of all the places I've stayed in through VRBO this one was by fa the best. The location was great. The house was equipped with everything you could think of to make out stay a pleasant one. From the coffee bar, to the luxury beds, to all the toys and play things for the kids...it was wonderful. Absolutely renting this place again. And thanks to Jinar who was a pleasure to deal with.
