The property itself was incredibly charming and historic. A bonus in the city being the roof top area with pool to cool off after a day sight seeing. The rooms were very well presented

Beautiful building with a lot of potential
I was surprised by my boyfriend, now fiancé with a proposal a few days before our stay. So our entire week in Italy ended up being like an engagement trip. I wrote the hotel and said we were engaged. They said congratulations when we checked in, but did not make any effort to celebrate our big moment in any way. Very disappointed in how they handled what was the one of the biggest moments in our life. I didn't expect much, but a hand written card or just something would have been enough. Will look back at our stay with disappointment.
