About this lodge
Fall asleep to sound of hippos in the river in front of your own African holiday rental! Our private vacation camp offers access to a remote stretch of the Zambezi that is the home to a rich variety of African wildlife including numerous southern African bird species. Our property lies in part of the Sisheke Conservation Project and is within 4 hrs drive of Kasane airport (near to Chobe Game Reserve). The southern entrance to the Sioma Ngewzi game park is 10 minutes drive away and a half hour north lies Ngonywe Falls. A day’s drive further north lies the famous Liuwa Plains National Park, site of the spectacular annual wildebeest migration. Kavumbu Camp is also within an easy day’s drive of Moremi and Chobe National Park just across the northern Botswana border, and to the south-east, Livingstone and the world-famous Victoria Falls is 270 km away.
