Situated in Whangamatā, this attractive house for $103 per night is a great option for your next trip. Whangamata is an outdoor persons paradise . The stunning white sand ocean beach was voted best beach in New Zealand in 2018. It has fantastic surf for surfing and swimming and islands to walk to and explore at low tides a stones throw away. If fishing and diving is your thing the ocean offers all this and more. Two golf courses in the town cater for the novice and the enthusiast . A 9 hole course in town and a 18 hole course on the towns outskirts give you all the challenges you need for a golfing holiday at the beach. Surrounded by forestry and boasting lots of newly formed mountain bike tracks this is the place where you must bring your mountain bike. Wentworth Valley Waterfalls is a beautiful bush walk which attracts plenty of hikers each year to enjoy the stunning scenery and waterfalls. The sheltered harbour and estuary offers safe swimming or a place to learn to windsurf , water ski or paddle your stand up paddle board or canoe .If you forget your equipment or don't have it you can always hire it in town. The Whangamata Bar is a world class left hand surf break which has attracted surfers to the town since the 1960's. The accommodation listed is for THE TOP LEVEL OF THIS HOUSE Downstairs is not occupied. It has 2 bedrooms, its own bathroom, lounge and kitchenette. An option for larger families or friends is to rent the bottom level as well. This is available throughout the year and price is by negotiation. At Peak Time for Christmas from 26th December -12th January and Beach Hop (minimum 5 days in March) price listed is for the whole house. Special conditions: No pets and smoking allowed outside only. No parties Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$80.00 per stay); Linen (Optional, NZ$80.00 per stay);

Lovely, modern property very close to the lifeguard flags section of the beach. Walkable to town, great decks, lovely touches like shower gel and dishwasher tablets. Have booked again for next year already.

Only good things to say. Great central location across from the main beach area, a lovely house which was clean and tidy and had all the mod cons we needed to a comfortable and enjoyable family holiday in Whanga. Gas stove, clean oven, netflix (handy for rainy days) unlimited wifi and a large bathroom with high pressure shower. The deck wraps around the kitchen / dining room space which gives you sunny or shaded options. Communications with Dave and Dale was great.

Would highly recommend. Home was well setup with everything we needed for a relaxing time. Perfect location only 150m walk to the beach. Great beach, water was lovely. Handy to the supermarket. Lots of food options available in the main centre. Will be back next year!

This was our first time traveling to Whangamata with our little children (4 and 1). It was such a lovely bach with a great location to the beach and a short drive to the town centre. Dave and Dale were very friendly, accommodating and very easy to communicate with.

Situated close to the beach and playgrounds the house provided the perfect base for daily walks and adventures further afield. Great communication, clear instructions and the optional extras of supplied linen & cleaning made for a no fuss arrival and departure allowing us to just enjoy our time in Whangamata.
