Located in Jamaica Beach, this attractive house for $255 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This cute Beach Cottage is conveniently located on the beach side of Jamaica Beach, one block from the beach with no need to drive across the main road (San Luis Pass 3005) to be on beach. It is a very short walk (less than 250 feet) to Gym, Liquor Store, Bar, Grill / Pizzeria, Wine/Espresso Bar, Hardware store, Laundromat and Valero convenience store with a Redbox. The house is well equipped with amenities of a beach cottage. Enjoy the beach view while you relax, listening to the sounds of the ocean. Located on the west end of island away from the heavy hustle and bustle. If you chose you can have fun visiting other Galveston’s attractions: Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens (Aquarium), Pleasure Pier for the kids or walk along the Historic Strand District and browse in the gift shops or indulge in the fine restaurants. House has a cute and romantic feel with beach decorations and a laid back vibe! The Property consists of 2 bedroom and 2 baths. The master has a king size bed, dressers and night stands with it's own bathroom. The guest room has a queen size bed and a full size futon. The living area has 1 full size fold out futon. House sleeps up to a family of 6 (per Jamaica Beach's Karen/Darren rules). The house has amazing views because there is a deck on main living area and a top deck with 360 degree view. Can see the Gulf and Bay. (Please note that the house is a beach cottage and about 864 sqft). Check in 4:00 pm & Check out 11:00 am. House additional amenities: some games, some videos, books, toaster, coffee maker with filters, a Kuerig coffee maker, blender, some basic spices, and both a small gas grill and charcoal grill on bottom floor parking area. We offer clean quality linens and comforters, Smart TVs with popular apps loaded in living and guest room. 2 Blu ray Players. Free WiFi on site with code when requested. There are chairs on the deck. This property is about 150 yards from the water and does have an awesome beach view. The cottage is set up to be romantic not to be used as a wild overcrowded party house. This was a great place to stay for our family. The beach is a really short walk from the house and the house is close to places for food and coffee. The host was great and made check in and out a breeze. Can’t beat that beautiful deck view!

There were 6 of us and this place slept us all with ease. The futons and beds were comfortable and the ample amount of parking space, grass, and commodities made this a very comfortable stay. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The beach was within walking distance located in an excellent area of Jamaica beach. The property was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It also had an excellent view from the deck. Ponch was great to communicate with and was always responsive. Thank you for helping us build great memories with our little ones!

Family really enjoyed staying and was a short walk to the beach. Owner had great communication and the place was just as advertised. Upper deck view is beautiful, furnished comfortably, and right by local restaurants etc..

We were very happy with this rental. It was clean and snug. The deck was wonderful for morning coffee and enjoying the ocean breeze. It was an easy walk to the beach even with a 2 year old.

We loved staying here. The owners were very responsive and the location was perfect. The beach was a quick walk from the beach house. There are two decks both have great view of the water. We had a party of 7 that stayed there comfortably. The house has a lovely beachy theme but also had a family home feel as well. We can't wait to come back!

Jamaica Joy is an awesome beach house! Very comfortable, great views of the beach and sunset from the upper deck, and an awesome host! King bed was comfortable. Home is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Ponch is a great host who wastes no time responding to messages or emails. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Jamaica Joy had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. We loved the location and the view from the top deck was amazing. We chose to drive down to the beach but could have walked. It was nice having restaurants and stores just across the street. Loved sitting on the deck and enjoyed the swing on the ground level. Loved having the kuerig coffee pot and everything we needed for cooking in. I am looking forward to staying again and bringing another couple or the grandkids.

Our stay was great! Weather did not cooperate 100% of the time, but it was a still great. Ponch was wonderful with communication!! House was perfect! Comfortable beds, so close to the beach and the view from the rooftop deck is wonderful. Definitely will stay here again for next trip to Galveston. Thanks!

The walking distance to the beach was so quick and easy. We made multiple trips back and forth with no difficulties or inconveniences. The master bedroom window was next to the major road so it was a little noisy at night with the traffic but king bed was very comfortable and made up for the little noise we had. The kitchen was fully equipped and we appreciated the condiments. Overall we had a great stay and the proximity to the beach will make us return.

Honestly this was not my favorite Galveston stay. The house was nice but not exceptional. The huge porch and views were the best and while it was in walking distance to the beach, it was also right on the highway and was very loud. While I appreciated the sound machines - which helped a bit - it was quite loud during the day but especially at night. The supply truck across the street loaded the store at 4am and had our kids up from that point on. There were also no beach amenities provided unlike most places I’ve stayed so bring everything you need including extra towels as there were no beach towels. Also Jamaica beach is public, very busy with cars, trucks etc. up and down the beach. Personal preference - just not my favorite. Overall we enjoyed our stay - but the boys also like when we just go down for the day. I just think it’s helpful to know how trafficked the location is. It may not bother some at all.

Could not have enjoyed our stay more. Located so close to the beach, house had everything we needed, and right next to a gas station and small restaurant for last minute needs. Owner was incredibly communicative and answered all questions we had. Kids loved the futon and the master bedroom was extremely comfortable!

Right off the beach so you can come and go as you please. Next to the few restaurants/stores found in Jamaica Beach. House is clean and master bed is super comfortable. Only consideration is that it's right off the main road, so you will get some street noise. Didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earbuds. All in all a great stay.
