Nestled in Jamaica Beach, this lovely house for $279 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Enjoy a Beautiful Ocean View in Jamaica Beach, Texas on the West End of Galveston. Pet Friendly with a fenced yard on the shady side of the house. Wifi, Covered Parking THE PROPERTY Hardwood floors throughout the house and tile in the Kitchen and two full bathrooms. Open Floor Plan flows through Living room, Large Dining area and Kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Gas Grill is located downstairs for grilling your favorite food. Deck furnished for outdoor meals and enjoying the sound of the ocean. Plenty of room for everyone to sit in the living room, on 2 Comfortable Lazy Boy sofas, a loveseat, and recliner chair. KING size bed in the spacious Master Bedroom w/ adjoining updated bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and dresser with wall mounted TV. The third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunks -- great for children but strong enough for 200 lb adults/teenagers per bed. Smoking permitted outside only, please. Pet Friendly with a fenced in yard. 2 Pet Limit. Non-aggressive breeds only, please. No Puppies, pets should be over 2 years old, please. Pet fee required. ENTERTAINMENT Bring your beach gear. It's a 5 minute walk or a 2 minute drive to get to the beach. There is an outdoor enclosed cool water shower downstairs, great for rinsing off the salt and sand from the beach. Be sure and take about $3.50 per person to the beach to enjoy the Vintage Ice Cream Truck. 3 TV's in the house with HD DIRECTV. Living room has DVD/VHS player with a large selection of movies. Use the internet to enjoy your own Netflix or other movie accounts on your personal devices. TV has USB ports for a fire stick or other devices OR log in to your accounts on the 1 Smart TV in the Living Room. There is a Bluetooth Speaker to connect with your personal device for music at the house. Also a charging station. SERVICES We provide all the linens and towels for the house as well as kitchen and bathroom paper products for short stays. Washer and Dryer located in the hallway for easy access. Maid Service will handle the cleaning and laundry upon departure. Beach Towels available for use but guests must wash them and return them to the basket. LOCAL CONVENIENCES Jamaica Beach has many conveniences just around the corner; Valero, convenience stores, groceries, souvenir store, liquor store, local hangout bar, local restaurants, and several Churches. A well stocked Dollar General is located at 14322 Termini-San Luis Pass Rd. which can cover any of your beach going needs. Just 1/2 mile west enjoy dinner at Nate's Seafood or check out Seven Seas Market has more than groceries it's a also a souvenir shop, worth a look! NEARBY ACTIVITIES Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark offer excitement for the whole family. Galveston State Park is very close for nature watching or walking. The Seawall is a must for cruising, people watching, shopping and so many restaurants you'll have to come back again and again to get to them all. Victorian homes and the Historic Downtown Strand Sea Port add charm, and award-winning restaurants add distinctive Gulf flavor. Also great shopping and night life. See Galveston's unique and colorful history firsthand which is ideal for a weekend break or week-long retreat. Go sailing, golfing, fishing, or swimming there's lots to do here. This property is beautiful, well stocked, comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing with family and friends. There is plenty of space for hanging out to play games and it’s close to convenient stores and restaurants. This neighborhood feels safe as well. The beach was very close for walking or driving. It couldn’t have been more perfect for our vacation.

We had such a nice stay here. It’s quiet, has the perfect shaded patio, fenced in yard, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, nice clean bathrooms, and if you have kids they have great toys, books, and games. We had such a great time over the Fourth of July holiday and really appreciate Cindy’s communication and lovely home. Would love to come back someday!

If you want quiet and clean place to stay and just a walk to beach, with a great host then this is the one. Also has a small yard fenced for your pup! What’s not to love.

Beach access was very convenient. We opted to drive the short 2 minutes because we had a ton of beach gear. The rental was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Had a few restaurants nearby, our favorite was a pizza joint. Definitely considering coming back one day.

My kids and spouse and father in law had a great time. Literal quote: “this is the nicest Vrbo we’ve ever been in!” Well-equipped kitchen, great living and dining space. We loved the fenced-in yard for the dog. Easy in, easy out, and plenty of notes of guidance around the house, as well as a great guide for the city.

This is an older house that has been updated inside. It's very clean, neat, and comfortable with adequate amenities. The owners have added some nice touches which reflect the affection they have for the property.
We took our golf cart which made it convenient to get to and from the beach which is about a 10 minute walk from the house.

This is our second time to rent this beach house. We love it! The property is spacious and beautifully decorated. It provides just about everything you could ever need for a perfect vacation. The proximity to the beach is great and the unobstructed view to the water is really nice.

My husband, myself, our son and our dog had a wonderful time staying here. One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Plenty of space for the whole family ,It had everything you needed for a beach getaway. Wonderful outdoor area for dog to run in. So close to outdoor dining. Convenience store, gas station , liquor store right around the corner , super easy access to the beach - we rented a golf cart, which we much more preferred using to go to the beach, rather than our vehicle . Highly recommend. Hope to visit again.

The house was in a great location and the boys loved the outdoor shower! The view from the deck was great and the beach is a 2 minute drive! Yummy pizza right down the street and easy drive to the Pier and other restaurants! We loved Jamaica Beach! Highly recommend!

Best Home Away from Home
We have never been more pleased with a rented home than Cloud 9. Not only is it convenient to the beach, stocked with every need possible- linens kitchenware games- ,and cleaner than my own home —but owned by the nicest people that I have encountered so far. 5 star stay

Great time
House was great, set up for just about any need. Although not on the beach there is a good view of it and a nice breeze. We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach. Worked out great. Owner was great to work with. Only suggestion I would give is a TV in the bunk room since kids would typically be the ones staying in it. Hope to return.

Owners are very responsive and understanding. The house is in a good location and is on a quiet street. Plenty of good food right there. You’re close enough to town without all the crowds. West pizza was great. The beds are comfy and the kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. The house has everything you need to have a fun stay, but could use a little upkeep. In particular the deck railing is loose upstairs.

The description of the home is accurately listed. The house was very clean, was very well stocked, there were nice things like games, movies, several options for watching tv, Plenty of linens, well stocked kitchen including 2 types of coffee makers and coffee options. You literally only had to bring g yourself, clothing and food! Communication with the owner was easy & fast responses!! We had one thing come up that we need help with (it wasn’t a big deal) but she was quick to call me and help us figure it out! Even though the house is not located on the beach front we found the location to be conveniently located right across the street which made going to the beach with our supplies easy, you could walk there but with supplies I recommend driving since you have to cross the main road. Thank you for a great stay!

Cute beach bungalow with great amenities! The location is just down the road from Galveston and a few blocks to the beach. Several area restaurants close by were good. Nice place to get away!

We really liked the layout and decorations. Very nice stuff and it has all the bells and whistles. Nice view of the gulf beach from the porch and master bedroom. Had to get in the car to get to the beach but not a big deal but will be a factor on future stays if othe properities on the beach are available. We have rented similar nice properties across the road but they were not available since i waited to the last minute to make a reservation. Would definitely recommend the property to others for a nice relaxing beach house experience. Thanks. JSN

Heaven at Cloud 9
We loved our stay at the remarkable cloud 9. Every need was met for ages 10 months to 71 including our puppy( 9 years old). This has become a family tradition and we need not look further. The communication was so important and done well. We will definitely be back.
