Amazing place with relaxing vibe and great location! But staff were the best part - they were fab!

Elementis Entebbe was incredible! I only stayed for one evening but wow did it leave a lasting impression! The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Facilities were great too and the lounge area was lovely. Very relaxing and in a great, quiet part of town in close proximity to everything in Entebbe. Staff were so nice and friendly and helped with everything I needed. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very disappointing.

Location - but there are about 10 other places on the same lakefront strip so no reason to stay here! It had a hot shower.

It is a FIRE TRAP. All exits were locked with bars and padlock at night with no emergency exit! There are bars on the windows.I found this out trying to go outside at 11.30pm. I spoke to the Manager who confirmed there is NO EMERGENCY EXIT in a fire! Plus, due to a screened void above the room door (see photo) you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms and corridors. The room’s ceiling fan was virtually useless, holes in window screens were taped up and there were mosquitos in our room, no tea or coffee making for guests as in most guesthouses and poor lighting everywhere. I had a twin room with my daughter and the single beds were the narrowest I’ve ever slept in. Very very disappointing.

Never again ! The hotel upon my arrival was much better, less expensive, better breakfast and most of all nicer manager.

Good location across from Lake Victoria with nice restaurants nearby. Victoria Mall and craft shop in walking distance. The lady who prepared breakfast was very kind. Good breakfast. Airport service at reasonable price.

We had to insist to have a key to our room when leaving. We were told it could be left open when going out despite having laptops and an I pad inside. We locked the door and then to realize we could no longer open it. A maintenance man had to be called in so we could get inside after over an hour. Luckily we weren’t leaving yet for the airport. Then we were charged for two extra coffees that we didn’t have. Manager with an attitude. Difficulty reclaiming a refund. Windows don’t close in room so you hear all outside noise. Difficult to sleep during a heavy rain storm. No shampoo supplied, only soap. A shame because I looked forward to taking a nice shower and washing my hair before my flight after spending time in a remote are in Uganda on a mission trip. Lastly, anyone that puts their dog out on the road, abandoning him out of the property sums up the character of the owner.

Äußerst freundliches Personal. Hotelmanager sehr zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind einfach. Aber sauber.

Great location

Really nice staff, breakfast was delicious and worth the extra price. The garden is beautiful, I could've stayed there for hours. Location was pretty great right next to the lake.

Mosquito nets in the dorm need to be fixed.

Great stay, good value for money

Very friendly staff, located close to the airport (they offer a 10$ transfer service). Breakfast was great. I had a dorm for myself... Very good value for money.

The location was very nice and the staff was nice.

The shared bathroom was not cleaned in the two nights we stayed there and the floor was wet most of the time. We requested a twin room but received a double bed unfortunately.

Very good

Peaceful lake side location, very generous breakfast served on the verandah overlooking the beautiful garden, very helpful staff. Nice common lounge room for relaxing. Walking distance to Victoria Mall for atms, large supermarket and taxis.

Beautiful location & comfy rooms

This place has a beautiful gardetn area and is sorrounded by lush vegitation and is right across a calm, quiet street from Lake Victoria. There are pleny of bars and restaruants around. I enjoyed biking and walking around this area. I apprecated the friendly staff, nice rooms, great location and very tasty breakfast. They even arranged travel to the airport for me.

Superb

Denis the manager of the guesthouse is super helpful and a nice person. The dorm and the other common spaces are clean and cozy, the garden and the terrace are relaxing. Restaurants for tourists along the road and a boda-boda parking near there. Don’t expect a luxury resort but you will find everything you need for 1-2 days in Entebbe.

Some socket in the dorm could be useful, there is just a USB-A port for each bed. I recharged my devices in another room.

Peaceful oasis on lakeside within easy walking distance of Entebbe town

An excellent guest house which, as others have noted, feels more like a private home than a commercial hotel. Comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, honesty bar, calm gardens, location right next to the lake and near to restaurants and bars. Wifi worked very well (apart from the day when there was no power).

Nothing really, you just need to remember that this is a small guest house without the grander facilities of a full hotel.

great location right on water and near lots of restaurants

the room was exceptionally small I’m not sure 4 people and their luggage would fit. it would have been massively uncomfy to be in the dorm room with strangers I think. as there aren’t ladders for the beds either. the staff is also nice but I feel they were trying upsell me on different things like breakfast but I had to keep declining.

A nice place to stay

A really nice place to stay with good, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff is really helpful with luggage etc. It is close to the airport and there are a lot of bars and restaurants around to have diner or something.

The bar was emtpy so they offered to get drinks for us somewhere. We had to pay extra for that and it took a really long time. Also it took a long time before we get the invoice for our stay, so we waited a lot.

A sublime experience which made my coming 'home' a rather traumatic one.

I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE & THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT.

close to beach and shopping . has a good vibe. nice family run it.

quite place to stay like home

a perfect place to stay for relaxation because it’s quite and what your heard the bird and water from lake Victoria, near to the restaurant along side the lake, walking distance to the Victoria mall perfect place to stay when you are in Entebbe

Exceptional

Wonderful to relax in a perfect location near restaurants overlooking Lake Victoria and have breakfast in the garden. After 10 days in rural Uganda I especially appreciated a proper shower and Western style toilet! Memory and Rebecca were very helpful providing advice and arranging transport. About 8 minutes walk from the main Kampala Entebbe Road if you are using a Matatu taxi.
