The originality of the place.

The close proximity to the City, the fact it has one of Kampala's better restaurants as part of the complex is a bonus, there is also an upstairs roof bar, which I never visited, as a private party seemingly occupied it. My room No 123 was quiet apart from the neighboring room sitting outside chatting, but not loud enough to disturb.
Two items of maintenance needed repairing in the room, the main bathroom light and the DSTV connection into the DSTV Box, needs some TLC.

Stay at Villa Kololo was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, while the lush greenery throughout the property created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant served excellent food with a great variety of delicious dishes. What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding staff—from the reception team to the restaurant staff, everyone was warm, attentive, responsive, and genuinely eager to help. Their attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile, and engaging conversations made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
There was honestly very little to dislike. If anything, a gym or a few additional fitness facilities would make the experience even better, but overall it was an excellent stay.

The location and restaurant vibe
Really limited parking space for hotel guests that are not comfortable parking by the roadside, the lighting of the room and entire interior was on the darker side, low to no natural aeration in the room.
While the location is great, it’s also in a busy part of town that makes for a not so quiet stay. The same goes for the popular hotel restaurant that gets busy through the night.
