a perfect retreat in the middle of woods absolutely perfect for hikers and dog walkers so quiet and peaceful full of wildlife the property was excellent and the garden was large and fairly safe for letting dog off lead the cottage is equipped with everything you need superb shower and heated towel rail the locals are friendly and there is a\ market town brampton 3 miles away which is quite dog friendly too especially the howard arms and shoulder of mutton
the stairs are quite narrow and steep so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues but its in keeping with the age of the cottage so its not something that can be changed just something to be aware of if elderly or very young children

The location was magical - like something out of a Jane Austen novel! The property was stunning and so well put together and the host was so friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to return!
Only tiny minor thing was that the curtains were a bit thin so the bedrooms were quite bright during these light summer mornings, but this was so minor in comparison to everything else.
