This hostile is really more of a passion project for the owner Sue. Everything was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. Sue was extremely helpful, friendly and takes amazing care of this place. I actually extended my stay twice. Having access to a washer and dryer gave me more time to explore because I didn’t have to spend half a day in a laundromat. The place is impeccably clean the beds were surprisingly really comfortable most comfortable beds I’ve had in Korea ever. The kitchen was clean and well stocked I’d come back to Korea just to stay here.

Everyone was so kind. It was my first time in Korea but they gave me such clear directions on how to get out of the airport and to the hostel. They welcomed me very warmly and gave a quick but comprehensive tour. I can clearly tell from the close relations of the other guests that this was a very lovely social space.
The food they make every now and then is absolutely delicious. The kimchi was so authentic and crazy tasty!! If you have any issues or concerns they are so quick to respond, and of course, just very helpful.
The location is also really good. Plenty of places to eat nearby as well as convenience stores.
There’s literally nothing that could’ve been better. They were the perfect host in every way.

I loved how it was within walking distance from all the shops and bus stops. The facilities were always cleaned and it felt cozy.
Taking your luggage up and down the stairs was hard.

The location of Gangnam Stay was so convenient safe with plenty of shops & restaurants literally outside. A few minutes walk to the closest station and bus stops at the top of the streets. The staff were so amazing and attentive throughout my stay. They offered plenty of advice about things to do where to eat, and the home cooked food was a tasty way to begin every day. I would live to return here in the future!
