Nestled towards the end of Seagull Avenue in Hayborough, this delightful family home really has that seaside living feel.
As you enter the property, there is a thoughtfully placed shower to wash down after a day at the beach. Starting downstairs you have a large lounge room with a TV, and sea views from ground level. It's a great spot for the kids to stay occupied while the adults entertain upstairs.
Three bedrooms are located downstairs, bedroom 3 is a large roomy kids room with a single bed, bedroom 4 features 2 single beds and door access to the exterior. Bedroom 5 features a tri-bunk (double with single on top) and outdoor access. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan. Located on the ground floor is an additional bathroom/laundry, with a toilet, shower and front loader washing machine. There is also a storage locker to the side of the home that is perfect to keep your wet gear, bikes, wetsuits, surfboards etc.
Moving upstairs, bedroom 1 and 2 are large and spacious with queen beds. Both have access to the rear balcony, perfect for a little quiet time in the morning while you sip your cuppa. Both bedrooms are air conditioned. The upstairs bathroom has a toilet, shower and bath.
The large open plan living room is a marvel, with gorgeous sea views from both inside and out on the front decking. A large flat screen TV resides in the living room, to keep you occupied in the evenings or if the weather turns. With ducted air-conditioning upstairs you will be perfectly comfortable all through summer and winter alike!
There is a fully-equipped kitchen, with all the cooking equipment and utensils you will need to cook up a storm. The kitchen also includes a dishwasher, because nobody enjoys doing dishes on their holidays! But if cooking isn't your thing, the property isn't far from local restaurants and takeaways. Some locations to note, Whalers Inn in Encounter Bay, The Anchorage or Hotel Victor in Victor Harbor, and Cockles in Port Elliot. There are plenty of fish'n'chip, pizza or fast food shops too.
There is outdoor furniture and a Weber Q on the front decking, perfect for relaxing outside on warm evenings to appreciate the seaside lifestyle. Why not cook a barbeque and entertain the family, what's more Australian than that?
This home will have you coming back year after year, make it your home away from home! However there is heaps to do on the south coast, so don't stay cooped up for too long or you'll miss out on the fantastic activities available to you.
The beaches of Hayborough are gorgeous, for divers there is a reef system, for surfers there is no shortage of surf along the coast. It's a gorgeous bay that you and the family will fall in love with.
For cyclists there is a bike track that runs all the way from Victor Harbor to Goolwa - this property offers a great base to explore between the local towns. And for those who feel energetic, you can walk straight into Victor either via the beach or along the paths on the foreshore. It's a perfect location to venture out from, being only a short drive to Granite Island, The Bluff, shopping district of Victor Harbor, seaside towns of Port Elliot, Middleton and Goolwa or the wine region of McLaren Vale.

This is our second time staying at the property and we absolutely love it. Plenty of bedrooms and lounge room space and a great ocean view from the balcony. The property is always in great nick and well-furnished, will definitely be staying again!

The property is in a really good location with sea views, but the front door was broken. It was a huge sliding door that took a lot of effort to open and close. Only one person in my group was able to slide it. This was a clear safety issue in the event of a fire. Also, the door lock wouldn't engage, so we didn't feel entirely safe during the two nights. There was, however, another entrance/exit through the toilet/shower which we had to use and this was really annoying and inconvenient. Also, there were no working lights on the balcony and some of the other light switches had broken knobs and did not work. Finally, the property placed a $500 hold on my credit card to cover any damage and still hasn't released it, even though it's been 3 weeks.

The house itself is great but needs a bit of a lift , bed’s really need replacing, they are very uncomfortable and really squeak loudly with any movement, it was obvious that the quilt covers are not washed regularly as they did smell a bit , also the dishwasher was not working . Overall we had a good stay but will probably look for another property next year
