Overall, good stay. The condo is quirky but it worked for our group. Check in was easy and we were very comfortable there.

We love old houses, so things that would bother some were charming to us. There were plenty of beds for everyone, most of them were very comfortable. We were thankful to have coffee stocked and ready for us. Our only complaint was how hot it was in the house.. 75* for sleeping was not fun. There were no instructions on the heat and A/C unit, so we opened the windows to cool it down, but the outside noise was very loud to try to sleep.

My family and my cousins family stayed here for a few days while visiting Boston. The apartment was roomy enough for all 8 of us. Location is perfect, 12 minute walk to the T, easy to find for Uber and there are several stores and restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Jamaica Plains area. Only consideration is that it is an upstairs apartment so your noise levels need to really monitored in the evening. Thank you for letting us stay during our visit.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Parking was on the street, but it was free and easy to find spots nearby. My kids were delighted when they discovered a bin of toys in the sunroom!

The area the apartment is in was so different from our own there were young families with children everywhere. The neighborhood has whites, blacks, and Hispanics. Everyone we meet were polite and if we had a question about a place to eat or place to park toke time to answer our questions. There are numerous places to eat near apartment from Topas to Scottish to neighborhood dinner. WE loved the liveliness. It was fun!

The layout of rooms with three common spaces — kitchen, separate living room with adjoining Sunny reading nook were great for spreading out. The kitchen had all the implements we needed for the simple breakfasts we made. The beds were extremely comfortable. Lita has placed fans in each room. We had great weather and enjoyed being able to open our windows for the breezes. The street noise was a murmur; the neighbors were quiet. The stairs to the apartment are steep and made a bit narrow by a chair elevator. But we managed. The apartment has many beautiful original architectural elements which make it a delight to be in. The apartment has great access to Jamaica Plain Pond and the Olmstead Park for walking, running and biking. We found Whole Foods and terrific neighborhood eateries just 1-2 blocks in the other direction. On street parking was easy to find. I’d love to have an excuse to stay here again! The place was excellent for our family. The size was just right as we had 4 adults and two teenagers. Parking was very easy; many spaces were available right in front of the house on the street. The kitchen table proved to be a great place to congregate to catch up in the mornings and plan for the next day at night.

Across the street from a 7-11, next to a restaurant, near other eateries and shops and easy access to downtown Boston. Creaky floors, one clawfoot tub with shower fixture, typical for an old house. One bedroom is actually the former dining room with a small, but adequate en-suite bath and drawers and armoire for clothes. Very clean. Furniture is on the older side, but it adds to the charm. We had a lovely time staying there. No issues at all.

We had a great stay at this property with our elderly parents. The chair lift for the stairs was a life saver for my mom and her bad knees. The location was perfect and just a short Uber ride to downtown and Fenway. There were also many restaurants and a Whole Foods within walking distance to the property. The owner was very reachable throughout our stay as well.

The house was perfect! My daughter got married nearby and I’m so glad I chose to stay here for several nights with family members. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for 6 people, plus additional family who stopped by throughout our stay. The proximity to the wedding venue, as well as to restaurants and stores made it the ideal location for us. Thank you, Lita!
