It was clean and the staff was friendly.
There is no elevator! For people in their 70s, that's a real negative. The receptionist offered to help us carry if we needed it, which was very nice.
The TV didn't work properly and front desk didn't know how to help, however she was also doing the laundry and tending the bar. (Hope you're paying her for doing 3 jobs at once?) Phone charging unit was faulty and the cord was sending electric charges into the bed. Not really the fault of the hotel, but a very strange feeling until we figured it out and unplugged it!
Breakfast was EXTREMELY disappointing. I realize hotel breakfasts are never gourmet, but this one was truly sub-par. Items ran out and weren't restocked, coffee wasn't available in the dining room, and the main hot courses were unrecognizable.
