Perfect location - just right off the beach. Not much walking to get there. Very close to restaurants. Very clean condo. Very comfortable beds as well. The only thing that we saw was the kitchen drain rack needed cleaning. We picked it up because my granddaughter was with me and she’s just nine months old so it’s easier to give her a bath in the sink. It was funky underneath. I would have cleaned it but didn’t have a brush.

Three beds for three bodies. The kitchen was properly apportioned, and the rooms were clean and clutter-free. We had easy access to the pool and the beach. We were allowed to enjoy ourselves around the pool without being hassled by overbearing security, and we enjoyed the folks who were staying around us.

Great! We love the Sandpaper and have been coming for several years. This was our first stay in 12B and it was wonderful! All of the updates were fantastic! The only thing I wish is that we would have been made aware of the beach situation before our arrival. I know it’s not your fault by all means, it just would have been nice to receive communication before our arrival that canopies/tents were not allowed in the vicinity, that way we would not have packed our canopy (which takes up a good deal of space) and we would have brought our umbrellas. Luckily our unit had some umbrellas in the closet for us to use which was much appreciated!

This was our ninth year staying at the Sandpiper Condominiums. It was our first year in unit 12B. The unit was clean, nicely decorated, and had a lot of useful amenities. Better stocked kitchen than other units we've stayed at in the past. Unfortunately, the owners are revising their rental practices and this unit will not be available for us in 2024. Bender Realty manages this entire complex. The Bender staff was very helpful in assisting us in booking a different Sandpiper unit for next year. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. Any issue we've brought to their attention, whether large or small, gets handled right away.

We had a wonderful month in Sandpiper 12B. The unit is in very good condition and is well-stocked with amenities! The owners have provided an excellent selection of pots and pans, kitchen utensils, bowls and containers, etc. They also have a number of beach and lawn chairs in the unit for our use! Very convenient when we have friends & family visit! Sadly, the owners have apparently decided not to rent by the month in 2024. But Bender Realty, the management company, bent over backwards to assist us in booking another unit at the Sandpiper for 2024. Bender has always been extremely good to work with over the past nine years we have been coming to Gulf Shores. Everyone working there, from office staff to maintenance personnel, is always friendly and eager to address any issues we have brought to their attention. We're always appreciative of the way they have treated us over the years!

Master bath was recently renovated and has walk-in shower, which is very handy for seniors with limited mobility. All other furnishings in excellent condition. The unit was very clean at check-in, more so than other units we've rented in past years. The only disappointment is that we were told by the management company that this unit's owners will not be renting on a monthly basis in the future. We will have to see what units are available, if any, at the Sandpiper if we choose to return in 2024.

The Sandpiper is in a good location for Gulf Shores. There is a small town feel to the property. However, if you like to have a view of the beach from your porch, I would not recommend The Sandpiper.

For the most part a very nice vacation. I've stayed in the Sanpiper 17 times now. Some y it's are obviously better than others. A few thoughts to make this u it better. Spend $50 at Walmart and go buy more kitchen utensils. Also the water pressure in this unit is not good at all water dribbles out in shower. The refrigerator makes a very weird sound all the time too. Seems to work fine but sound is annoying the one bed has a mattress topper that isn't good and keeps coming off the bed. Get a new mattress please A bigger TV in living room would also be a draw. Yours is quite small in there I did enjoy my stay though and kids did too. Lastly there was a lot of dust on some of the surfaces. Cleaning crew didn't do a great job.

We were very pleased with our stay as far as the cleanliness of the unit, kitchen well stocked. There are only two suggestions that we would like the owner to know. The king bed desparately needs a new mattress—we ended up with back pain from the mattress. Also, it really needs a recliner , when you need to put your legs up after a long day.

A beautiful winter retreat. We were very happy that the pool was heated the last two weeks of our stay! Made it much more enjoyable to be able to swim in the warm water after a day of golf or cycling. Beautiful condo with all the cooking utensils needed.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff was always polite, friendly and helpful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed, as if we were home. We enjoyed the beach, as well as the pool area. Also, the barbecue area. We were very satisfied and have already discussed our plans to come next year for a longer stay. We enjoyed several of the restaurants nearby-Sea & Suds; Shrimp Basket; Hazel’s; Cosmo’s; Oyster House, and Pancake Island.

The unit we rented was great. We spent most of our days relaxing on the beach. The property is well kept and modest. There is a lot of activity on the beach so if you're looking for seclusion, this would not be your place. Lots of life, laughing, families and fun all day long! flaws: The a/c and refrigerator were a little noisy and the construction allows for lots of overhead noise from the tenants above. The wood decking also allows liquids to spill from the floor overhead. (one morning while drinking coffee and reading I got a milk shower from above....that was NO fun. Concrete decks or top floors for me here on out!)Otherwise...great location for family, affordable price and nice unit.

We have been to Sandpiper a number of times, and the layout is great for a large group. Just not excited about quiet time starting at 10:00 when you are on vacation with a large group. Security could have been a little more understanding without threatening to call someone else.

We spent 2 weeks in unit 12B. This unit is very old and in need of some repairs. The refrigerator has a loud noise. On the last day the dishwasher decided to leak all over the floor. The beds are really needing to be replaced. The one bed is so low and had linens that did not even fit correctly. It would be a benefit if the parking was assigned to the unit. Often when you return there is no parking available under the units. This was our second year at the Sandpiper. The location is great. The unit needs to be updated and a deep cleaning needs to be done. The party over us was very loud both outside and inside. We like a get together of friends but need to respect other people. The man who came by and helped get the TV's going was great. Please thank him again for us. We did not have any problems with Bender. Most of the problems need to be addressed with the owners. We will be back to Gulf Shores but will be looking for a different rental.

The people atBender were nice but on the occasions I called about the bugs I had a person both times say but they are dead. No they aren’t if they can walk into a bathtub or out onto the kitchen floor three feet from the cabinets. I’m sorry if this sounds awful but not really what I wanted when I paid high rent for three months.
