Walk to Echo Lake and go for a hike! Many marked White Mountain National Forest trails right outside the door! Our chalet is directly in front of Cathedral Ledge with unobstructed views! Sit and have coffee while watching climbers climb the ledge. 1.5 miles from the village of North Conway 10 minutes to Cranmore & Attitash. 15 minutes to Story Land! Downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. Upstairs features spacious loft with 2 full size beds. Updated kitchen with everything you need to entertain. Features a pot style coffee maker, Keurig, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. Remodeled bathroom with a large tiled stand up shower. Cozy fireplace, 50 inch high definition TV mounted above the fireplace, Gas grill on the deck. Large spacious deck with patio table & chairs overlooking Cathedral Ledge. High Definition Cable package with High Speed Internet (WiFi). Fireplace insert with glass. New heating system and air conditioning units upstairs and downstairs. Outside fire pit (you need to go to nh..burnsafeAmerica.com website for permit ). Located in a small peaceful association. This cabin was perfect for hiking all through the White Mountains. In addition, it was just a mile walk to Echo Lake State Park which has a wonderful swimming beach, and it was also just below Cathedral Ledge so we could watch the climbers as they made their way up the rock face.
The kitchen was well stocked, and being so near to North Conway, we had plenty of great restaurants to choose from when we didn't feel like cooking.
We would definitely stay here again if we returned to do more hiking in the area.

The place was perfect for our purposes. It was one of our most memorable and fun vacations we've had as a family yet. It was two adults, one teen, and dogs. Pictures do not do justice to the location. Cathedral Ledge is stunningly beautiful. The deck provides an incredible view. The house is on a quiet street. The hiking trails are conveniently located at the end of the street. It is also a very quick drive to the top of the ledge. Echo Lake is either a short hike away or a quick drive (you may want to pre-reserve your parking) and is one of the most unique and beautiful lake experiences with the ledges above. The town is no more than a 5 minute drive away. It is filled with interesting shops and delicious food experiences. The location is very convenient to other fun and recreational outings like tubing (you can actually spend up to a few hours on the tube). We even went on a moose safari. There is also a 24-hour and very clean laundromat in town. The house itself is a rustic A-frame that contained everything we needed and was very nicely cleaned and maintained. The upstairs loft has two generous beds. As others have noted, the stairs are steep and without independent lighting so it may not be appropriate for some. The check in and check out process was easy. Do allow time for taking the trash to the Transfer Station. This is a last-day time management consideration (also with travel) but also observed it as the standard practice for the area.

Overall staying at this chalet was a great experience. The house was clean and as described. The owners were very responsive and overall we had a great stay.
A few things to note. The views are unreal! I’ve been going to North Conway my entire life and never ventured down to this area. I was blown away. The hiking (when it wasn’t raining) was fabulous and the people were nice.
About the chalet, the air conditioner is extremely loud, it kicks on and off every 5 minutes or so which makes sleeping difficult.
The bedroom is very small and the air conditioning doesn’t cool off the room.
The main room didn’t have sheets when we got there which wasn’t a big deal, we just ran to the store and got a set.
One of the neighbors keeps their dog off leash and it charged at us several times while we were there. This does not reflect on the owners of this chalet but just be mindful and be careful if you are walking.
Overall we would stay here again.

This was the perfect, cozy, A-Frame for our winter getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were lucky enough to enjoy a snow day in front of a wood fire, watching the snow fall on the Cathedral Ledges. We were able to take long snow shoe hikes and spent some time at Attitash. We would love to come back. Christopher and Pam are great hosts, very easy to communicate with and had a clear check in/check out and how to use the property instructions. Thank you for having us!
