Close to airport, decent breakfast
A bit nosy, dark (not much lighting), odd room setup (when entering the suite you go through the bathroom)

The breakfast was excellent for the price. A good range of foods and available 6-11am. My room rate also had dinner included but I didnt have dinner. Very clean rooms , comfy bedding and refurbished bathrooms with a good power shower and tub ( snug fit ..but they tried !) Mini fridge in the room. Theres a small shop and bar in the lobby area. WIFI worked well . A/C was good. Staff spoke little English but I managed to book the free shuttle to Pudong airport (about 8 mins away) and get some documents printed out without any hassle. Theres a small supermarket within 100m of the hotel ( Turn left out of reception, cross on the pedestrian crossing and straight ahead... ) I think for an overnight stop this is a good option.
I didnt find any English Channels on the mainstream TV . Usually theres at least one news channel and /or a movie channel if the hotel advertises 'satellite ' TV . There may have been pay for view options, but I didnt check that out. If you have your own entertainment this wouldnt be an issue.

Hotel has friendly staff on site. Breakfast was great - hot and delicious.
The hotel seemed very dark and less traffic. Room smelt smoking. Front desk did not look great and dining room is unlit. Hotel room smelt smoking. Renovated bath and shower looked great but are difficult to use. The room seems too small with the renovated bath.
