The staff were fabulous - small numbers of staff and guests made it feel very personal - we were very lucky to enjoy the game drives with Patrick our Ranger who was amazing with his warmth and knowledge .
Each meal was fantastic (all prepared by the lovely Grace) . Location was superb.
Overall just wonderful!
Soma areas needed a little love & attention, if I was being particular, but nothing that detracted from our stay

The place is relaxing and the staff just goes an extra mile. I actually wanted to extend my stay but they were fully booked
The lodge didn’t communicate that we will be living our car at the Welgevonden main gate
We arrived around 16:30 but were collected after an hour leading to us arriving at the lodge around 19:00.
I didn’t not get my complementary drink, not that it’s important

Lovely venue, all staff were excellent
Martin the guide was extremely knowledgeable and did his upmost to make our game viewing memorable
