Nestled in San Marcos, this attractive condo for $139 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Lavender Place is a cute garden cottage attached to the main home but totally separate with its own entrance and yard. You will be staying on our 4 and a half acre estate. Located in the beautiful foothills of Vista with a parklike setting. The views are breathtaking. Hikings trails within feet of the flat. Lace up your hiking boots, bring your mountain bike and come explore Owens Peak of San Marcos which is just outside our backyard. Private garden entrance to a charming vintage large studio flat. This 450 square foot space includes a full kitchen, large bathroom with a walk in shower, comfy queen size bed and a beautiful surprise dressing room. French door private entrance thru the garden. You will have to use garden stairs to access the front door so guests with limited mobility may have a problem. We created a private little getaway to offer folks a restful retreat from the world. But still close to all the things you need. Shopping, theaters, freeways are within minutes but once you arrive up the hill you feel far away. This unit is an attached granny flat to a large tudor style country home. Please note the hot water in the kitchen takes a minute or two to get hot due to the distance of the water heater. Before booking please read all house rules. Two person max and no extra guests or visitors on the property. This rule will be strictly enforced! If unregistered guests are in the place the reservation will be cancelled with no refund. We rescue Yorkshire Terriers and they will be gated in other areas of the property. Please do not try and pet them or enter their area as rescues are unpredictable. We will be happy to bring the calm friendly ones to meet you if you desire. Your safety is our main concern. Everything was great! They were super nice and even let us check in a little bit early. The place itself is really really nice too. Clean bed, fancy coffee and tea and a full sized fridge was nice. Very clean and modern

A perfect 10! Probably the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Allen was such a nice person and the unit had absolutely everything you could possibly imagine. Beautiful surroundings great location.

The place was a good location for our get away as we were going to see Shen Yun in Escondidio. Wish we could have stayed another night just to enjoy the surroundings more. My wife's comment was that the "property actually looked better in person than in the pictures". I agree. Allen & Marie were very nice and give us great restaurant suggestions.

My stay was everything I could have asked for....tranquil, comfortable, clean and cozy. Marie and Allen are wonderful hosts and I would recommend their cozy French cottage to anyone. They made me feel more like a friend staying for a visit than just another new guest. I loved how the cottage was decorated and situated among the trees. I loved how they have created several spots around the cottage to sit, unwind and relax. It was the perfect country get away yet close to everything I needed. I hope to come back soon for another visit!

Beautiful place to stay for a couple of days while on a work trip in Vista. The room was nicely decorated and cozy. I would stay here again if the property gets a new bed for the room. The mattress becomes a taco shell when two people are lying on the bed. Not comfy. If you don’t mind that, this place is 5 stars.

Nice little getaway. A great place to enjoy a cup of tea. Make sure to use google maps and not Apple Maps when looking up directions. Girl friend loved it. Fin.

The Lavender Place was fantastic! Located on the first floor of the majestic main home, it has its own entrance and is completely closed off from the rest of the house. The interior was absolutely beautiful, clean with a beautiful interior design that will leave you speechless. Our favorite feature was perhaps the barn yard door that leads into the walk in closet. The one draw back. Since the private suite is apart of the main house, you can hear the owners of the home walking around. But despite the small snag, would again stay on this property !
