Located in San Marcos, this attractive house for $150 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Welcome to our California Time Capsule! Lucy & The Sky is a legendary 24 ft Airstream trailer built in 1966. She is located on a large plot of land on the side of hill looking over hills and valleys. 20 min to best beaches, 20 min to wineries of Temecula and 40 min to famous Potato Chip Rock hike, you can experience most of San Diego from here! Less then 20 min to the moon with our telescope on the grounds! Panoramically positioned, our place is great for a romantic couples or artsy solo traveler or anyone who would like a refuge from the rustle and bustle of urban life. It is magical here! Located on a carved out plain atop a hill you'll be surrounded by the peaceful Tuscany-like views with distant wineries and mountains. You will have almost an acre of land at your disposal with no houses obstructing enchanting views. This is what our guests say: * "We LOVED our stay! " * "The one night spent in the most charming Airstream I have ever seen: miraculously sacred." * “The only sounds we heard, were birds chirping and swirls of wind” It took us a year to rebuild/remodel that piece of American history with leaving all original interior. You will have your own Bathhouse with antique claw-foot bath with plenty of hot water. Airstream has independent air conditioning and heater . We provide organic shampoo/conditioner to support nearby nature. You will have access to firewood. During dry times , please, ask us about outdoor fire regulations in the area, we have to respect local laws. The Interior: Inside the Airstream you shall find one queen size bed and one twin size bed that can be converted into a couch manually at your convenience. The kitchen stretches along the wall featuring Breville AirFryer/Toaster/Oven, refrigerator, double sink, and counter space. At the far end of the trailer is a hot/cold shower and little sink. The Exterior: Featuring a covered pergola, deck, lounge chairs, Mexican cast iron chimenea, Weber BBQ grill with side burner, private bath house (including full size antique claw bathtub a sink & toilet) wooden swing set and more... all surrounded by open space, fresh air and rolling mountains. Details: Most guests prefer to use the bath house outside for this reason please bring a robe or other clothes in which you can easily go to and from the Airstream and the bath house/toilet located just 15 feet behind it. - You will have fast speed internet. - Parking can accommodate 4 cars easily. follow us on insta! @lucy.the.airstream

We had the best time! Property exceeded our expectations. Wonderful view, privacy and amenities. The deck, BBQ, fireplace, and comfy chairs made it so enjoyable to spend our evening outside. The airstream was comfy and cozy! The communication with hosts was awesome. Very responsive and kind! Loved the helpful videos too. Hope to stay here again.

Incredibly intact pristine vintage airstream. I love this property and the location is fantastic. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but 10 minutes from shops and restaurants and about 20 minutes from the beach. Highly recommend!

This Airstream is so cool and relaxing. So many cute details that give you a cared-for feeling. Communication with the host is great, and checking in was really easy. We had such a great stay! Property is just as described in the listing. It's super peaceful, very clean, and the clawfoot bathtub is oh-so-relaxing. Especially nice having morning coffee outdoors watching the sun come up. I would totally stay here again (and again)!!

We had the most amazing, relaxing stay at this gorgeous location. We arrived in the looming storm of Hurricane Hilary, luckily for us the storm passed with no significant issues. The host made sure that we were informed of options if the storm would cause problems. The only thing I am disappointed about is the weather kept us from being able to fully enjoy the amazing setting that this Airstream is set on. If we return to this area again, we will definitely come back to this location. Nice tranquil location to get away but yet not to far from many activities. Thank you for the Wonderful Stay!

This place is truly one of a kind. My family and I loved it. We stayed here on the way from LA to San Diego because we went to Legoland the day following. It was a great way to stay close to Legoland. My kids loved "glamping". In fact they didn't touch their electronics the entire night! My wife and I enjoyed time around the chimenea. Very peaceful place with a beautiful sunset and sunrise. And the bath house was perfect. Thanks! Hope we'll stay here again.

The best thing was the property, the peace, and the view! The trailer is in great shape and the bathhouse is perfect. Just wish the bed (mattress cover) was a little better, but otherwise, my wife and I had a great stay!

I have always loved Airstreams! This rental was an oasis of calm and tranquility during a trying time. It offered my twin sister and I the perfect respite, allowing us to temporarily escape the stress of visiting an ailing family member. The hosts were available and there to assist us with any needs we may have had. We highly recommend this unique experience to anyone seeking solace, comfort, and a much-needed break from the chaos of everyday life. It was truly a sanctuary on wheels and glamping at it's finest!
