This century-old cottage, believed locally to have originated from nearby Penguin Island as a former Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage, offers a truly unique and memorable getaway.
Lovingly furnished with vintage charm and character-filled décor, Serendipity combines old-world appeal with practical comforts for a relaxing stay. The open-plan interior includes a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, laundry facilities, and split system heating and cooling to ensure comfort throughout the seasons.
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Beachport and at the beginning of the scenic Bowman Drive, the location simply couldn't be better. Cafés, restaurants, playgrounds, shops, historic attractions, and pristine beaches are all just moments away. Golf greens, tennis courts, nature walks, and the local lighthouse are also close by, making it easy to explore everything this beautiful coastal town has to offer.
For fishing enthusiasts, the Beachport Jetty and boat ramp are just around the corner, with Rivoli Bay and the famous Salmon Hole nearby. There is also ample off-street parking and room to safely park your boat.

Very tidy property. Has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Very clean. Check in and out via property management was smooth. Having wifi would complete be a positive.

Quiet and peaceful. Rustic charm with almost everything that was required. The cons were that the heating/cooling system was very noisy and drowned out the TV whenever it cut in. The shower was barely adequate due to water pressure and being over the bath entirely unsuitable for elderly or disabled. The mattresses are VERY firm resulting in poor, uncomfortable sleep so we left property a day earlier than planned. Overall, expensive for the amenities provided but if you are looking for a rustic experience and young enough to cope with the discomfort then this may be the place for you.

Easy and stress free. The location is perfect to walk to the shop/s, pub, jetty, play park and most importantly the coffee shop. The house is old and with that you get the usual stuff like wonky floor, older bathrooms and funky wall coverings. The house is totally serviceable and an easy place to set up home for a few days. Let downs are the lack of outdoor seating in the sunny rear garden and limited "security" with an open garden to the street. (via carport) None of this is a deal breaker but with you children it was something to be mindful of. Furthermore the bunk beds are in the main living area so a bit useless if planning on using them for younger children whilst you watch TV etc in the evening. Regardless my kids loved it and we had a nice break.
