The hotel is located in a transition neighborhood that has a lot of new hotels and a lot of warehouses. It is very convenient to a number of subway lines. The daily breakfast was excellent. If you drive you can find street parking and avoid the fee to park.
The area looks run down but it was safe and we never felt danger while walking to and from the subway even late at night. The biggest issue we had was a lack of towels racks in the bathroom which made it difficult to air dry towels between room being serviced.

Friendly and helpful team! Always smiling and pleasant. Hotel and all facilities are clean. Rooms are well appointed. Lovely scent to body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. Kitchen has everything you need and if you think of something else, just call the front desk. Will continue to visit this location. Close to subway. Love the proximity to Astoria...a favorite neighborhood of ours.

The staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Their attention made it very welcoming. The breakfast was good.
The pictures of the hotel were a bit deceiving. The location is not the best but convenient to local stores and transportation. The room was small, the pillows were the WORST. The view, what view? Lol, but construction. Not pleasant when you have to live out of your suitcase for the 2 weeks we were there because you only have a small closet and no dresser to put your clothes away. I don't think I'll be staying there again.
