I very peaceful location right on the edge of the loch. The property is of a very high standard, up there with the best. If we ever return to Orkney will try to book this property . Note, there are stairs ,as the accommodation is not on ground level so may not suit anyone with mobility issues

The location was stunning on the banks of a loch, with beautiful paths and gardens.

Beautiful location on the side of the lock. The apartment is spotless tastefully decorated and laid out, Big living space with open plan kitchen, large lounge, big bedroom and walk in shower that had everything you needed plus a utility room for washing of clothes.
The outside area has two gardens one where you can sit overlooking the loch and if the weather is a bit chilly a closed in garden with a garden hut whare you can sit and watch the weather fitted with a heater and TV
Its position in the North of Orkney Island is perfect for visiting the wild coastline, Skara Brae, the rings, Stromness, Kirkwall and all the other sites but giving you quiet empty roads and no crowds. Beautifully tranquil.
Highly recommend as a base for visiting Orkney and the other islands.

Such a tranquil setting with stunning views. The apartment and the gardens are immaculate. We had the best sleep in the comfiest bed listening to the oystercatchers and curlews out the window.
A beautiful place to recharge, highly recommend.
