Located in Upper Hominy, this attractive house for $135 per night is a great option for your next break. Stoneybrook is an extraordinary property that has numerous streams with massive stands of laurel and lush foliage bordered and protected by the US Forest Service. Enjoy walking the nature trails with unusual native wild flowers and an awesome stand of trees of many varieties (some of which are marked and identified... one hickory tree is estimated to be 150 years old). The very spacious 24 by 28 feet outdoor pavilion with a stone fireplace is a favorite gathering place for each guest. Imagine a romantic evening listening to the crackling fire with your love, regardless of the weather or curl up with a good book while listening to the beautiful song birds and the babbling brooks. We provide many magazines for your reading enjoyment. You will find many books with points of interest of this area and games and such for children. Provided are two mountain bikes for your pleasure. The Vineyard with hardwood floors, cathedral ceiling, skylight windows, and cable television. Brookside offers hardwood floors, natural finish tongue and groove pine board paneling decorated in nature wood motif. The Nantucket says it all. It has its own skylight bathroom and is decorated to match its name. The cottage, according to many guests, has more to offer than just being a great vacation spot. It is nestled on 3.2 acres bordering Mount Pisgah National Forest and it is located only 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Each of the three bedrooms and 2 baths have been totally remodeled...hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, skylight windows, tongue and groove pine paneling are some of the unique features. Snuggling in comfortable beds as the Katydids sing you to sleep is a dream come true! Beds are 1 king size and 1 queen and 1 full size beds with luxury bedding for your comfort.

We had an amazing time at this home. The home is nicely layed out for two couples, exceptionally clean and well stocked which made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The outdoor fireplace area is amazing. A Danish word to describe this is hygee which embodies the feeling of warmth, coziness and home. The creek area is so relaxing. The drive to downtown Asheville was about 20 mins with tons to do - art galleries, shopping and restaurants galore. We also went to DuPont to hike to three waterfalls which were beautiful. Everything was easy and it was wonderful to leave a hectic pace behind for a few days. We definitely would book here again when visiting the Asheville area. I’ve already recommended to several friends. Thank you to our hosts for all you have done to allow us a relaxing and wonderful retreat!!

This property was more than I could have hoped for! We went for a long girls weekend and had the best time. The Summer House was the favorite of my nieces. The outside covered area was definitely my favorite! We cannot wait to go back!

This place was charming and comfortable and just as clean as the other reviews reported. The outdoor fireplace was stacked and ready to light when we arrived. We enjoyed it every night of our stay. One of the best things about it was the closeness to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was a short drive through the Pisgah National Forest. It made it easy to explore both north and south of the property. Oh, and, we had to look no farther than the back yard to see some great colors!

My cousins and I (all young adults) has the sweetest time at Stoneybrook. Just being at this cozy little cottage was a highlight of our trip to Asheville! The details in each room and every space are so thoughtful! It felt like home away from home! :)

We've stayed at several properties listed through VRBO, and this was the cleanest and the decor was the finest. It's convenient to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are several good restaurants in the surrounding communities, and other services aren't far away. We'd definitely have this quiet, beautiful place at the top of our list if/when we return to the area.

I have never been to a Vrbo as clean as this one. And the location was just perfect . We cooked and eat on the patio every day. The forest and creek behind the house are gorgeous. There are hammocks near the Creek that you can relax in. There is a waterfall you can walk to less than a mile away. You can drive up to Mount Pisgah for more amazing hiking. We were extremely comfortable. The town and grocery stores are a significant drive away, maybe 10 or 20 minutes, which was perfect for us. Some of the highways you take to visit, neighboring towns are congested and under construction, so recommend you find alternate routes (tell Google Maps to avoid highways) and take more time on the back roads for more enjoying drives!

Then there's the magical walk into the woods on a well maintained path over a trickling stream surrounded by a beauty only God could create. It leads to a clear brook rushing over large and small rocks, also to another lovely covered patio, more comfortable seating, and even cots where you can relax and listen to the water nearby as well as the birds and other wildlife. The atmosphere is so peaceful! A place like this is truly medicine for the soul. I hope to return and stay longer next time!

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It was exactly as described on the VRBO information page. Fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms. Everything was clean and ready to use. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay, super clean and completely stocked with anything you might need when away from home. Tons of small touches that simply added to the fun experience. This place was great! The owner's have put a lot of time and thought into supplying everything you could need during your stay. Enjoyed the outside area with the fireplace where our granddaughter got to experience her first marshmallow roast and smores. If I ever get snowed in during a stay in the mountains I hope it is at a place so well equipped with everything and fun things to do as this place. Well kept and maintained. I hope to return in the spring when all the flowers are blooming. The only thing wrong was we just didn't have a long enough stay.
