The historic district (also known as "Olde Town") owes its name either to the corseted ladies' fashions of the 19th-century, or to a hungry period following one of the Savannah River's floods.There are bicycle rentals less than 5 minutes away, kayak rentals and jet ski rentals by the marina only 2 minutes away and other outdoor activities by the Augusta Canal. The master bedroom has a bedroom that offers a comfortable King sized bed with a shared hallway bath. The second offers a queen size bed that shares the hallway bath. The shared spaced include the living room area, a fully stocked kitchen with essentials, private fenced in back yard with lots of space, and one space driveway parking space and plenty of free street parking on quiet street. (PLEASE NOTE: Duplex home with an efficiency in the back of the home.) The living space offers ample space to entertain. The kitchen comes equipped with full size refrigerator and stove, coffee maker, utensils, plates, cups, etc. The backyard offers plenty of privacy and for those that enjoy the outdoors.
