The location is convenient. The administration responded quickly to my complaint.
I didn’t like the way breakfast was served. We were initially told that breakfast would be served at 8:30, but the staff was consistently late. It also took a long time for the breakfast to be prepared. Because of this, we couldn’t properly plan our daily routes and activities. As a result, throughout our entire stay, we had to have sweet breakfasts brought in from a local bakery.

We arrived around 10:00 and were greeted by a staff member. Even though she only spoke Italian, she was helpful and arranged us to have our room around 11:00 already (instead of the official check-in time of 14:00). Also, Piero attended to my complaint about the noisy neighbours, so that was definitely positive. The room we stayed in was clean and it was nice to have free coffee available in the kitchen.
There was a 2 cm gap at the bottom of our room door, which basically made sound isolation impossible. We heard everything that was happening in the lobby including the noises from the room upstairs. The first night we couldn't get any sleep because the guests upstairs kept coming and going from the apartment even after midnight, then leaving their room door open and talking loudly. I messaged the owner and he informed me that he asked the guests to leave the next morning. In general I appreciate his efforts, but if the doors had been properly isolated, this would not have been an issue. Maybe it's something to consider for the future... In any case, don't book this room if you are sensitive to noise.
