The apartment is in a great location, really close to everything, and comes with free private parking.
The apartment itself is very comfortable. There are just a few issues, which I’ll mention below.
The instructions on how to get to the apartment weren’t clear enough, and no one answered the phone. The property is managed by a management company, and apparently they thought that “it’s the weekend” was a good enough excuse for not being available. I called them and also sent a message through Booking.com, but received no answer.
The apartment itself is really great, except for a few things:
* There was no cooker hood, so all the smoke and cooking smells had to travel through the entire apartment to reach the window.
* There was no clothes airer, and the explanation we were given was that “the previous guest must have taken it,” so we had to be quite creative in finding ways to dry our clothes after washing them.

Great old warehouse converted into into excellent accomodation. Short walk to the city centre, and lots of bars and cafes nearby.

The studio is in a lovely, very quiet area, yet only around a 10-minute walk into the city centre.
We found the studio to be very clean, cosy and comfortable, with a lovely bed — ideal for a couple of nights while visiting York.
The entrance to the apartments has a hotel feel, but it’s much quieter and more private.
Just be aware that the parking space is very tight. We had an SUV and had to use our self-parking key to manoeuvre into the space.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this little find to others! 😊

The host was friendly, responsive and quick to help whenever we had an issue, which we really appreciated. The apartment was in a good location, with an easy 10–15 minute walk into the centre of York's historic town.
The apartment didn't quite match the photos, and getting in and out with a car was quite inconvenient, especially with the uncovered parking space on the top floor and no lift. We also had ongoing issues with the shower temperature, which was either freezing cold or scalding hot until a plumber was able to attend, and the bed felt more like a sofa bed than a standard bed.
