Wir haben uns in der Ferme du Guindal sofort wohlgefühlt. Das B&B ist wunderschön und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, gleichzeitig war alles sehr sauber und angenehm ruhig.
Besonders schön war das Frühstück im Wintergarten. Es gab unter anderem Schoko-Croissants und Baguette sowie selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Honig, Sirup und Käse. Dazu konnte man zwischen Kaffee, Tee und Kakao wählen. Die familiäre Atmosphäre hat das Ganze perfekt abgerundet.
Auch die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, Supermärkte befinden sich aber direkt in der Nähe. Für uns war sie der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um Cap Blanc-Nez und Cap Gris-Nez zu besuchen. Auch für eine Übernachtung vor oder nach der Weiterreise mit der Fähre bzw. dem Zug nach Großbritannien eignet sich die Unterkunft unserer Meinung nach sehr gut.
Ein besonderes Plus ist die voll ausgestattete Küche, die von den Gästen genutzt werden kann.
Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich und herzlich. Obwohl wir aufgrund meiner etwas eingerosteten Französischkenntnisse und der fehlenden Englischkenntnisse der Gastgeberin eine kleine Sprachbarriere hatten, hat die Verständigung wunderbar funktioniert.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. ❤️

Ample Private spacious parking for a high vehicle , use of a kitchen and a kettle always a bonus, great location near to Eurotunnel, patron very accommodating and excellent breakfast , dogs welcome

Very convenient for Calais. Very clean and a good sized room with the benefit of being on the ground floor which is helpful with dogs. Also very useful to have a grass area to walk them. I left early so didn’t have breakfast.
The automatic lighting in the entry passage was not working and there was no light switch - made finding locks and opening doors difficult. There were no water glasses. For me the only thing I didn’t like was no walk in shower or place to hang the shower head and no screen or curtain on the bath. This is a major fault and could easily be rectified. After paying I received booking confirmation from Booking.com informing me that there would be a 5euro charge per dog. This is not a problem but should be shown and included prior to payment not afterwards.
