Location to town was excellent, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Staff were helpful and the room was clean and tidy when we arrived. We would definitely stay at the hotel again in the future.

I loved my stay in this hotel. It is a beautiful period building in an excellent location, close to the centre of the town, but quiet. Check-in was straightforward, and I was warmly greeted by the staff. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, and breakfast was excellent. There were many good choices for dining out nearby.

Great location and good value for money. Wifi fine and ample parking space. Easy check in. Great view.
Bed a little uncomfortable. Early check in closure could have been a potential problem. No coffee or tea in room.

Breakfast was good but strange to be asked on arrival at check in how many mini croissants/mini pains au chocolat/slices of bread etc we were intending to eat in the morning at breakfast! When you haven't seen them before it is difficult to know what you are going to want!
At no point in our stay were we able to connect to the wi-fi, either in our room on first floor or downstairs right next to reception, yet we were told we should be able to as no red lights were evident on the router! (Admin were on a different wi-fi when I asked about the second wi-fi option that was coming up with a signal!)
Hotel has enormous potential but is exceedingly tired/jaded. Really quite sad. Bar not open in the evening so no pre or post dinner drink.
