Perfect couple's getaway! Tucked away on Vilano Beach, just north of St. Augustine, this quaint cottage is ideal for visitors looking for a more private, secluded stay. This is a one-bedroom (queen size bed), one bathroom cottage with a nice kitchenette. Beautifully decorated with a living area (flat screen HD TV and WiFi internet service) and a separate dining spot to savor your morning coffee or enjoy an evening meal. A small patio out front where you can unwind after a day of exploring nearby sights or a relaxing day at the beach. Miles of beaches to walk, run or just sit in place and enjoy. Grocery stores, restaurants and shops a 5-minute walk away. Or, take a 5-minute drive into the heart of St. Augustine, a charming Old World town filled with historic sites, unique restaurants, museums and art galleries. Beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards included. Bicycles and kayaks available at an additional charge.

EVERYTHING was perfect except for the parking situation but we dealt with it. Highly recommend as a vacation spot!

We visit STA at least once a year and will be returning to this charming cottage on future trips. The cottage is secluded behind the other cottages making it a hideaway. There is lots of room and a very nice patio. Steps from the beach and yet convenient to everything. It was our first time staying at a VROB and we picked a winner. Scott is a 5 star host

The pictures on VRBO do not do this place justice.
It's really cute beach cottage, very close to the beach access. The bed was a bit hard, but not too bad. The kitchen was small but really nice. We had a really awesome time and we definitely will be thinking about another stay here next year

Very pleased. Appreciated the host putting out some bread and butter and fruit to get us started after a long ride from Tennessee.
Would love to repeat next year; perhaps for a longer stay. We enjoyed the town as well and would like to explore it further.
The beach was beautiful. Just what my wife needed to unwind.

This is an amazing property. The cottage itself is hidden just off A1A. The place is truly a couple's retreat with one bedroom, a huge bath and a well-appointed living room and dining nook. The best part for us was the private patio just off the tennis courts. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee or a late-night glass of wine as we ended our day of sightseeing. The beach is a short walk to the end of the street (less than a 1/2 a block), and it's a great place to watch a sunrise/sunset or just hang out and do a whole lot of nothing.
We will definitely be booking this one again!

Big family event -- rented this single bedroom home for my BIL so he could have some privacy and teased him about his "Love Nest" the whole time. Unit was immaculate, location was great; we highly recommend.

This property is just fantastic!! Close to the beach, short drive into St. Augustine historic district, beautiful facilities, thoughtful owners/property managers...everything we needed for an absolutely wonderful stay!! We'll be back!!

The property was exactly as advertised. Cute, comfortable and all the amenities needed for my stay. The full kitchen was a wonderful plus as I was able to go to the grocery store [3 minutes away) and pick up food and drinks to cut down on eating out for every meal. The entire place was perfect for me and the location couldn't be better. It is literally a 2 minute walk down a dead end road to Vilano beach. It is close to just about everything and only a few minutes drive to the downtown historical area. The check in was easy and Scott was very prompt on providing me with all the information I needed when I arrived. I would 100% recommend this beach cottage to any single or couple traveling to St. Augustine for a relaxing beach-centered holiday.

What a delightful trip back to the old Florida of my childhood. From the path to the beach, to the sweet cottage, every part was a comfortable and nostalgic experience. I highly recommend any one of the three properties offered here. You can't miss!

Charming Escape
We were so impressed with this property when we stayed last year and decided to go back again this year. This is the perfect spot for a couple wanting to get away - it's close to the beach, grocery stores and "town". We loved it!

Great location with private beach access and a near by store you can walk to. Although the cabins were close together, we had a private area to our own. Also, love the fact that there wasn't a long list of things to do for check out. Very nice place and would definitely stay there again in the future.

This is one of three cottages sited closely together on the owner's beachfront home lot. The wide and clean beach is a two-minute walk away and St. Augustine is just across the bridge (the cottage is just off the A1A and thus gets a certain amount of traffic noise at rush hours, primarily in the bedroom - possibly not notable to city dwellers). The cottage as a whole is cute, well laid out, and perfect for a couple, although the kitchen is tiny - would suggest installing a stove with microwave above instead of on a cart. Great bathroom and furnishings. The owners are very nice and responsive. The only problem was that the adjacent cottage was under renovation, with fairly constant low-grade construction noise. Once that is done, I would stay here again. Be aware that the cottages are very close together - great for extended family.

Great for couples!
Great location with private beach access and a near by store you can walk to. Although the cabins were close together, we had a private area to our own. Also, love the fact that there wasn't a long list of things to do for check out. Very nice place and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Had a wonderful and peaceful vacation. Just a short walk from the beach. The cottage is it's own little sanctuary among the old oaks and beautifuly landscaped grounds. All necessities are walking distance and downtown St Augustine is a 5 min drive. Many activities near by.

A great place and the host was over the moon. We didn't have any dish towels and he was at our door in minutes.
One light bulb is burned out in the bathroom mirror fixture. The the shower curtain is too short and lets water get on the floor. Internet and TV worked great. Didn't see any beach chairs and again our host was there to help us.
