Located in Jim Thorpe, this lovely house for $135 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This historic Victorian home was built in 1870 and offers early American charm, antique furnishings and also has wide plank floors, modern kitchen and bathroom. This house is a two bedroom home, located on the main drag of Jim Thorpe and has parking for one car. (Many places do not have parking) This home has a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. There is cast iron gas wood stove, basic cable TV, WIFI, new kitchen, and bathroom. There is a shaded private courtyard out back, a second level deck and also a mountainside gazebo. Loved our stay. Everything went smooth, it was clean and we loved the cozy feel of the place. We were able to walk down into the town and not have to worry about parking. We would definitely stay again!

The house is located within walking distance to almost everything in Jim Thorpe. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere and just leave the car in the driveway and go exploring. We really enjoyed the view from the tree house/gazebo out back! Bed in the front bedroom was super comfy.

Convient location to several different kinds of activities. The outdoor space was very unique and if the weather had cooperated, I would have have scheduled several hours just to sit in it and enjoy it.

My wife and I loved the property and it's convenient location. It was very clean and private. The owner left suggestions for things to do around town and places to eat. Everything was in walking distance and worth the trip.

The home is well equipped and convenient to the outdoor activities we wanted to pursue, as well as restaurants and shopping and other attractions. The host provided lots of helpful information and was communicative when necessary. Would book again. Thank you very much!

We stayed here with friends during a long weekend. It was great to be able to walk down the hill for tours, shopping, and restaurants. The deck above the house was great as well!

Smooth transaction. Owner communication was great. Only stayed 2 nights to get a good day in Jim Thorpe. Lots of local info provided in brochures provided in Kitchen. Roomy accommodations. Loved the upper deck and Boze / MP3 unit. House was comfortable and has wonderful historic character! We would be happy to enjoy this location again! THANKS!

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable home in Jim Thorpe. My husband ran in two races during the Jim Thorpe Running Festival and was able to easily access the starting points for the race. It’s easy to walk from the home to various points around town, but just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown life. While the weekend was rainy and dreary, we spent good family time in the living room playing games and reading. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room to spread out, and we had everything we needed. I’m hoping to return and spend some time in the mountainside gazebo. It was a great little spot with views out into the town, but we couldn’t use it much due to the rain. I bet it will be beautiful in the fall. Stephen, thank you for sharing your home with us!! It will be our new go-to place to stay when visiting Jim Thorpe!!

Home was exactly like it was advertised. Historic and comfortable with a coveted parking spot! Well within walking distance to everything in downtown Jim Thorpe. Check in and out process was fantastic. Didn't get to use the decks since we were so busy exploring but will the next time we stay!

A great home from home experience. The parking space meant we could leave our car and walk everywhere which is especially coveted at the weekend. A very comfortable main bedroom bed and comfy sofas downstairs. Also appreciated the easy check out.

This is our fourth stay at this property. Everything about this place is perfect. The place has such warmth and such charm. The location is perfect. Easy walk into town and all of the restaurants and shops. There's a gazebo in back to enjoy all the views. You really will love it!!!!! 5 stars.

Home was exactly as advertised….Historic and simply charming! Located just outside the busy section of historic downtown but close enough to walk to the train station where we boarded for a train/bike excursion. A Catholic Church was just 2 doors down from the rental, which was awesome! House was well equipped, comfortable, and super clean. We spent Saturday evening on the deck and so enjoyed the nature surrounding us. Wonderful getaway!

I had rented this property for my parents to stay nearby when they visited me and the family. They loved it from their first moment stepping inside. Welcoming decor, cozy floorplan, and a great home to relax in while visiting Jim Thorpe. Property manager was amazing, highly responsive to any questions and handled an unexpected (small) issue with the best customer service I could have imagined. I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful little home, full of old fashion charm and furnishings with just the right modern touches. We felt like part of the neighborhood. Amazing 3 level deck built into the hill outback. Able to walk to a variety of shops, restaurants and attractions. Excellent communication with our host from time of booking. All inquiries were addressed quickly and fully. The week before our stay he sent a long list of reccomendations.
