A classic Florida beach house (one of only a few left) with a screened in porch and a 90 second leisurely stroll to a Caribbean beautiful beach. Enjoy the ocean breeze and laid back ambiance of this charming home. Welcome! No shoes, No news! 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage sits a block to Gulf coast waters. Newly updated kitchen has all the amenities for family lunches or romantic dinners. A large gas grill is available for your favorite BBQ. WIFI available, cable TV, streaming with 2 large screen televisions. The screened in front porch is perfect to relax after a long day and enjoy a cold beverage and watch the sunsets. Large back bedroom has a king bed along with a queen bed , small refrigerator, coffee maker, TV and a full bath. Front bedroom has a double bed and front bath has stand alone shower. Beach chairs , umbrellas and beach toys are available.

Cottage and location were perfect for our needs. Quiet street with a very short walk to public beach access. Check in/out, amenities and cottage description were spot on. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

But in the master bath, their is mold around the tub where it meets the wall. I'm pretty sure the mold is under the the sealant. The sealant should be removed and reapplied. It looks unsightly.

We were able to check in just before 3 p.m., which was much appreciated after a 6 hour drive. Everything was neat and well-stocked, and the ice maker was full. The barbecue had adequate propane, but didn’t get hot enough to sear our steaks. We had a hard time figuring out the remote control for the heating/air conditioning units, probably because our old eyes can’t easily read fine print, but our daughter fixed it for us. We loved the short, one block, walk to the beach. The only thing we wish we’d known was that there were lots of sand burrs in the backyard, where we had to walk the dog. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the excellent communication.

My husband and our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed the cottage! Short 3 min walk to the beach to sip our morning coffee and a great quiet neighborhood to go for evening walks. Right in the middle of 98, so many attractions/food are 10-15 min away. Cottage was super cute and quite cozy. All the amenities you’ll need. Even really nice beach chairs to take down in case you forget yours! We will definitely be back SOON to Ginny’s cottage!

We love older homes so we love the charm of this Miami style bungalow. This is the way homes use to be built- it’s a shame so few have survived hurricanes and condo development over the decades. I loved the cozy feel of the place. It’s super close to some of the best beaches in Florida and down the street from crab island. This may be our new favorite getaway!

There was dust in the shower that’s for the cleanliness and the mattresses need to be firmer. I’m on dialysis so the place needs to be extra clean for me

Great little cottage, older but cute. You cannot beat the price or location. Has screened in porch, fully stocked updated kitchen and bath, and two bedrooms. You have to walk through bedroom 1to get to bedroom 2, thus explaining another reviewer who described the layout as "weird." The beds are hard, and Ivwoukd definitely recommend some sort of mattress padding. There's a full washer/dryer, which are great for towels. You are near all the best shopping and restaurants. The neighborhoid is beautiful and I ran almost every morning. Had a lovely time here, and would most definitely stay again. Molly was a pleasure to work with. Was able to check in earlier than 4. The unit eas ready early, which was great, since we drove 15 hours.

Great Stay!!! One small block to the beautiful beach!! Cottage was very comfortable and cosy and clean inside. Not a new facility but more than great!!! Molly is very accommodating and responds without delay! Price was right!

My two dogs and I had a great time! Lots of places to go do things with the dogs, the areas beautiful, and very dog friendly. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Destin

This is a cozy little cottage a block from the beach. The property was clean and felt like home, the owners had good communication, and it's walking distance to many things along the beach. The only downside was my dog couldn't use the backyard due to all the sand bur, those tiny little spike balls wreaked havoc on her feet until we figured out what was going on.... It's also worth noting that no dogs are allowed on the beach in Destin, we didn't know this before we got there. If I didn't have a dog, we would definitely stay here again!

Good for our needs, truly odd layout to the property. I can that it was (or can be again) a two unit rental. The electrical switches were odd also. did not detract from our stay, though.

We needed a quick getaway and Ginny's Cottage was the perfect place. It's great for the price and the location is right down the street from the beach.

Great location, plenty of space. Could have been cleaner upon arrival especially during these times. Found Fruit Loops. One dried on the kitchen chair and 3 in the living room tells me it was not cleaned to the fullest. Oh and sand still on top of the blankets on the made up beds. It's ok. I bought clorox wipes and lysol to go along with the cleaning fee I gladly paid to have a clean house and washed the bedding in the bed we chose to sleep in before sleeping in it. Not the worst vacation just not the cleanest

We were here due to evacuation from Hurricane Ida in New Orleans. The owners could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. They were truly wonderful to work with.
Four adults, two kids and a dog were very comfortable in this cottage. The back bedroom with the queen and king bed was almost like it’s own little apartment. It included its own coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, washer and dryer and full bathroom.
They went above and beyond to accommodate our families during a terrible situation. Would absolutely book with them again.

Charming house. Clean and well located. Would come back. Some hiccups like running out of propane for grill, left half way the cooking and no visible spare got to refill ourselves. Communication could had been better overall. We wanted to increase our stay. Not timely communication did contribute to not achieve that

This was the perfect spot for a vacation house. We loved every moment spent in the house. Adorable place. Comfortable beds. More than you could imagine that you could need. We loved it.

Such a great location & short walk to the beach. The house had plenty of space to accommodate our group; the screened in porch was amazing for us & the pup we brought along! Had such a great time!
